I. Adjectives (Review)

II. Để yêu cầu ñiều gì một cách lịch sự, ta dùng mẫu câu

III. Cách dùng some và any: some và any có thể ñứng trước cả danh từ ñếm ñược và
danh từ không ñếm ñược; dùng some trong câu khẳng ñịnh và dùng any trong câu
phủ ñịnh và nghi vấn.
Ex: There are some chairs in the room.
There are not any chairs in the room.

What would + chủ ngữ + like?
Chủ ngữ + would like + danh từ
II. Từ ñịnh lượng (Partitives):
Đối với các danh từ không ñếm ñược, ta dùng các ñơn vị chứa ñể ño lường. Các ñơn
vị ñó là: A bottle of, a packet of, a box of, a can of, a bar of, a tube of,…
III. Để hỏi về số lượng, có hai trường hợp sau:

• Sự vật ñếm ñược: ta dùng mẫu câu:
How many + danh từ số nhiều

• Sự vật không ñếm ñược: ta dùng mẫu câu:
How much + danh từ số ít

IV. Để hỏi và trả lời về giá cả, ta dùng mẫu câu sau:

III. Để hỏi và trả lời về một hoạt ñông có thể diễn ra thường xuyên hay không, ta dùng
các mẫu câu:
How often do / does + chủ ngữ + ñộng từ nguyên mẫu ?
Chủ ngữ + ñộng từ + once / twice / three times / four times / ….
Chủ ngữ + always / usually / often / sometimes / never …… + ñộng từ

I. Để hỏi và trả lời về thời tiết, ta dùng các mẫu câu sau:
What’s the weather like?
It is …….

II. Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn có thể ñược ñặt ở ñầu câu hoặc cuối câu. Nếu muốn nhấn
mạnh thì ta ñặt ở ñầu câu:
Ex: They play tennis in winter.
In winter, they play tennis.

I. Thì tương lai gần (future: going to): mô tả kế hoạch, dự ñịnh:

Thì tương lai gần thường dùng với các trạng từ: tomorrow, tonight, next week, …
• Lưu ý: I am going to go = I am going

Để ñặt câu hỏi với thì tương lai gần, ta dùng mẫu câu:
