I- TENSES ( Các thì )
1. Simple present ( Hiện tại đơn giàn ) : everyday , every week. every month, every summer ,
always , usually, often, sometimes, never, sự thật , chân lý…
*Khẳng định
- S + (be ).
→ is/ are / am [ nếu S là I → am ]
[ nếu S là you , we, they , số nhiều → are ]
[ nếu S là He , she , it , số ít → is ]
- S + (have ).
→ have / has [ nếu S là I , you , we, they , số nhiều → have ]
[ nếu S là He , she , it , số ít → has]
- S + ( V) .
→ V / V(s / es ) [ nếu S là I , you , we, they , số nhiều → V ]
[ nếu S là He , she , it , số ít →V(s / es ) ]
* Lưu ý cách thêm s / es
• Nếu V tận cùng là o , ch, sh , x, s ,→ V( es)
• Riêng V tận cùng y ( phụ âm phía trước ) → chuyển thành ies
• Trường hợp khác → V(s)
* Phủ định
- S + (not be ).
→ is n’t / aren’t / amnot [ nếu S là I → am not ]


[ nếu S là you ,we,they ,số nhiều → aren’t ]
[ nếu S là He , she , it , số ít → isn’t ]
- S + (not have ).
→ don’t have [ nếu S là I ,you ,we, they , số nhiều → don’t have ]

2. Present progressive (Hiện tại tiếp diễn ):now, at the moment , at that time, at present, look !

• Lưu ý :
+ Nếu V tận cùng “e” khi thêm “ing” ta bỏ “e”
EX :write → writing
+ Nếu có nguyên âm ở gữa phụ âm thì gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm “ing”
EX : put → putting
