Dear Tom,
I am very happy to receive your letter and know that you are all right. Now, I am going to
tell you about how to keep fit and healthy.
First of all, you should have enough healthy food. You should eat more fresh fruit and
vegetables. Moreover, you should drink one or two glasses of milk with your daily meals.
Eating meat is also important for your body because it provides protein.
Secondly, you should do exercises or play sports. Try to get up early in the morning and
go running is a good way to help you keep fit. Playing badminton or volleyball in the
afternoon help you relax and be stronger.
Last but not the least, if you want to be healthy you should also feed your soul. Listening
to music, watching the films you like or reading the books you enjoy helps you be relaxed
and love the life you have.
I have just given you some advice I think it is necessary. Please do what I tell you and I
hope it works.
I have to go to work now. See you soon.
Best wishes,

As you know that I enjoy films a lot. Therefore I always go to the cinema to see famous
movies. Last Sunday, I saw Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen who is one of the
famous novelists in the English literature. The story follows the main character Elizabeth
Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and
marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England.
The films so interesting and thrilling that I saw it until the end.
You must see the film I have seen. It is really great.

Part 2
You are helping to organize a visit to a college in an English – speaking country for a
group of students. You have received a letter for Michael Slater, the College Director.
Read the letter and the notes you have made. Then write a letter to Mr. Slater using all
your notes.
Dear Mr. Michael Slater,
Thank you very much for your email. As you know that this visit is very important
for our students who are studying English at our university. It will create the chance for
them to practice using English in the real situations.
Regarding to the question you raise in term of accommodation, I think it will be
more helpful and effective for students to improve their English if they have opportunities
to live with local people. Could you arrange it for us?
Secondly, there are about 20 students whose ages are from 18 to 20. Like young
people, they would like to go picnic and play some sports. These activities will help them
to explore culture of the country and be healthy with sport activities.
Finally, It is more convenient for us if you can tell what the weather is like when
we come and what kind of clothes should we take with us.

I will ask you for more information when I need your help.
Thank you one again and hope to see you soon.
Best regrards,
