3. Present perfect tense( Thì hiện tại hoàn thành )

* For : Chỉ thời gian kéo dài bao lâu. Ex: You have studied English for 4 years.
* Since: thời gian bắt đầu từ lúc nào Ex: She has studied English since 2003.
4. Future simple Tense ( Thì tương lai đơn)
- Form : + S + will / shall + V + …………… Ex: He will finish his homework tomorrow .
- S+ won’t / shan’t + V + ……………… Lan won’t go to the zoo next week.

5. Present progressive Tense ( Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn )

7. Near Future: Be going to ( thì tương lai gần )
- Form : S + is / am/ are + going to + V(inf)
Ex: I feel tired . I think I’m going to be sick.
8. Modal verbs
- Form : + S + modal verb + V + ………. Ex : I can sing very well.
- S + modal verb + not + V + ……… Ex : Hoa may not come to the party tomorrow.
? Modal verb + S + V + ………….? Ex : May I come in ?
- Modal verb : must, mustn’t, needn’t, shouldn’t, should, ought to, can , can’t, could, may, might

lesson 2. câu bị động
I. The passive form (voice)
1-Công thức tổng quát:
S + V + O
S + be + PII + by+O
*Câu bị động ở thì hiện tại thờng:
S + V-s,es + O
S + am/ is/ are+ pII + by+O
Ex: The workers make the pens.
The pens are made by workers.
*Câu bị động ở thì quá khứ đơn:
S + V-ed + O
S + was/ were+ pII + by+O
EX: I visited my grandparents last week.
My parents were visited by me last week.
*Câu bị động ở thì hiện tại hoàn thành:
S + have/ has + V-pII+ O
S + have/ has + been + pII + by+O
Ex:They have built this house since last week.
This house has been built since last week (by them)

*Câu bị động của các động từ khuyết thiếu:

S + modal + be + pII + by+O
Ex:He can mend this bike.
This bike can be mended by him.
*Câu bị động của thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:
S + am/is/ are + V-ing + O
S + am/is/are + being + pII + by+O
Ex: She is reading a book now.
A book is being read by her now.
*Câu bị động của thì quá khứ tiếp diễn:
S + was/ were + V-ing + O
S + was/ were + being + pII + by+O
Ex: They were playing soccer at 4p.m yesterday.
Soccer was being played (by them) at 4p.m yesterday.
2-Cách chuyển từ câu chủ động sang câu bị động:
-Xác định chủ ngữ, động từ và tân ngữ trong câu chủ động.
-Tân ngữ của câu chủ động chuyển thành chủ ngữ của câu bị động.
-Viết be ở thì của động từ chính trong câu chủ động.
-Viết động từ chính của câu bị động ở dạng quá khứ phân từ.
-Chủ ngữ của câu chủ động chuyển thành tân ngữ của câu bị động, viết sau chữ BY.
-Nếu chủ ngữ là đại từ nhân xng (they, he ) hay đại từ bất định (someone, everyone) có
thể bỏ ở câu bị động.
-Đối với động từ khuyết thiếu ở câu bị động, ta thêm BE vào giữa động từ khuyết thiếu và
động từ chính (ở dạng quá khứ phân từ)

-Lặp lại từ said/ say.

-Thay đổi thì, từ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn, ngôi cho phù hợp với nghĩa của câu (nếu có)
*Công thức:

2-Dạng câu trực tiếp là câu cầu khiến, câu mệnh lệnh:

-Đổi động từ say >tell, said >told, sau đó thêm tân ngữ vào sau nó.
-Bỏ dấu phẩy, dấu ngoặc kép, dấu chấm than, từ please (nếu có).
-Đổi đại từ nhân xng, tính từ sở hữu, trạng từ chỉ thời gian, nơi chốn (nếu cần thiết)
*Công thức:
+Khẳng định: Trực tiếp: S + say/ said, V
>Gián tiếp: S + asked/ told + O + to + V .
VD: She said, Close the books, please!

+Phủ định: Trực tiếp: S + say/ said, Don t + V

3-Dạng câu trực tiếp là câu hỏi đảo (Yes/ No- questions)
*Cách chuyển:
-Đổi said >asked (hoặc wanted to know/ wondered) sau đó thêm tân ngữ (nếu cần
thiết).
-Bỏ dấu ngoặc kép, dấu phẩy và dấu hỏi.
-Đặt If/ whether lên trớc chủ ngữ của câu gián tiếp +động từ lùi thì.
-Đổi ngôi, đổi từ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn(nếu cần thiết).
*Công thức: Trực tiếp: Do/ Does/ Did + S + V-nd .?
>Gián tiếp: S + asked + O + if/ whether + S + V(lùi 1 thì)
VD: Do you go to school? he said.

4-Dạng động từ khuyết thiếu:
Trực tiếp: Can/ shall/ will+ S + V .?
>Gián tiếp: S + asked + O + if/ whether + S + could/ should/ would + V

VD: Mary said to Nam, Can you speak English?
>Mary asked Nam if/ whether he could speak English.
Note:Nếu câu hỏi với will/ shall diễn tả yêu cầu, lời mời, đề nghị có thể chuyển sang
câu gián tiếp dạng câu hỏi hoặc câu cầu khiến.
VD: He said, Will you open the door?
>He asked me to open the door. (He asked me If I would open the door)
5-Dạng câu trực tiếp là câu hỏi có từ để hỏi: (Wh-questions)
*Cách chuyển:
-Đổi said >asked (hoặc wanted to know/ wondered) sau đó thêm tân ngữ (nếu cần
thiết).
-Bỏ dấu ngoặc kép, dấu phẩy và dấu hỏi.

lesson 4. mệnh đề với "wish"
I- Lý thuyết:
Hình thức thể hiện ớc mong Wish trong tiếng Anh khác hẳn trong tiếng Việt. Tuỳ
theo hình thức của động từ đi sau WISH mà ta biết đợc điều ớc muốn đó có thể sảy ra,
không thể sảy ra hoặc ít có khả năng sảy ra. WISH có 3 dạng sau:
1- S + wish to do: muốn làm điều gì đó
Ex: I wish to see the manager.
I wish to make a complaint.
- Wish to do có nghĩa giống nh want to do và would like to do.

2- S + wish + (that ) S + V(simple past) = thể hiện một ớc muốn không có thật hoặc ít
có khả năng xảy ra ở hiện tại.
Ex: I wish I had enough time to finish my test ( I dont have enough time).
She wishes you could drive a car ( you cant drive a car)
They wish that they didnt have to go to class today ( they have to go to class).
3- S + wish(es) + (that) + S + would + V(inf) = thể hiện một ớc muốn không có thật
hoặc ít có khả năng xảy ra ở tơng lai.

Ex: I wish I would be a doctor next year.
He wishes he would't have an exam next month.
4- S + wish + (that ) S + V(past perfect) = Diễn tả một ớc muốn không có thật trong
quá khứ (luyến tiếc một điều gì đó).
Ex: I wish I had taken your advice.
I wish it had been warmer.
We wish that we had had more time last night.
