SAATCHI & SAATCHI – INTERN COPYWRITER TEST

1. Look at the photo below, write 3 headlines (each in English and Vietnamese) to
a. Make people laugh.
b. Make people cry.
c. Which product would be suitable with this visual? Write a headline to sell
that product (along with the visual).




2. Imagine you’re a teen girl. You don’t have a job. You don’t have your own house.
You don’t have your entire freedom but you just got your first tattoo. You’re very
proud and excited. The next thing you know is your mom finds out about it. She’s
furious. She obliges you to go remove the tattoo or else she’ll kick you out of the
house. “My way or the high way!” She said.
Now, in Vietnamese, write her a letter to make her change her mind.

3. Look around you. Here’s your favorite coffee shop. There’s your broken rice
bistro you’ve been visiting every morning since primary school. Next to it is that
wedding dress boutique with the most hideous gowns you could ever imagine.
Pick one of them. Pick a local brand (Cơm tấm, áo cưới, cà phê vỉa hè, bà bán
xôi ). Think of a slogan for that brand. Then take a picture of their signage and
add in your awesome slogan. In Vietnamese, please.

4. Summarize one of your favorite films/ songs/ books/ in one sentence. It’s better
be your own point of view about that artwork. In Vietnamese or English.
Ex:
- Nửa đời hương phấn - Trai, đi chơi gái, yêu gái.
- Conception - Mơ trong mộng trong mị.
- Finding Nemo – Father traveled crossed the ocean to find son with the help of a

mentally disabled woman.

5. Your neighbor, Mr. Tư, is suffering because people keep peeing at the wall of his
house. Use your creative mind to think of some solutions so you could rescue Mr.
Tư from this smelly issue. Write them all here in English.
