Negative: S + hadn’t + V3
Interrogative: Had + S + V3
Usage: Diễn tả 1 hđộng qúa khứ
xảy ra trước 1 thời gian qúa khứ
hoặc trước 1 hành động qúa khứ
khác.(Nếu trong câu có 2 hđộng

qúa khứ, hđộng nào xảy ra trước
dùng thì past perfect, hđộng nào
xảy ra sau ta dùng thì simple past.
Ex: We had lived in Hue before
1975.
Ex: After the children had finished
their homework, they went to bed.

danh từ thường có: this,that,these,
