Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. It is famous over the country as well as over the world for its beauty, history
and culture. I have been living and studying in Hanoi for 2 years. Since I came here, I have visited many places,
such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, HoChiMinh Mausoleum, Thu Le Zoo and some historical places… These
places are very beautiful and become tourist attractions. The weather in Hanoi is very mild. I like the spring and the
autumn in Hanoi the most because of good weather and beautiful color of trees. Hanoi is also famous for its “Pho”
or noodle which can be found in any streets. More and more foreigners visit Hanoi every year. This year, there will
be a great anniversary when Hanoi is 1000 years old. I think that Hanoi is always one of the most beautiful capitals
in the world.
Home town
1. What would you say are some the best things about your home town?
– Well, my home town has lots for young people to do. There are shops and movie theatres, karaoke bars, games
arcades… roller skating, and other things I can’t think of right now… we’re never bored.
2. Do you think it’s a good place for young people to live?
– Yes, it’s a great place and young people are very happy here. In fact, a lot of young people come here from the
country areas when they are ready for university.
3. Does your home town have many tourist attractions?
– There are quite a few tourist attractions. There’s an old, traditional part of town to see and a silk factory, and I
think the tourists enjoy the markets. I don’t really know much about the tourist activities in my own town because I
live here all the time!
4. Is there anything you’d like to change about your home town?
– Yes, the traffic is a problem. It’s getting more and more congested on the roads. We need to build more roads and

encourage people to use public transport rather than private cars.
*Are there many interesting places where you live for people to go at weekend ?/ Is there much to do in your
hometown?
Oh yes, there's certainly lots to do there as it's a fairly big city. If you like going out in the evening there are a lot of
good restaurants and bars. If you prefer cultural activities there are museums and art galleries. But if you like nature
there are lots of other things outside of the city which are easy to reach.
What are the people like in your hometown?
They are mostly quite friendly, but as with most big cities everyone is often busy so it may seem as if they are not
interested in speaking or having a chat. But if you live there you know that most people are quite happy to have a
chat if they have time and will help you if needed.
My favorite food
There are a lot of foods but I like meat best. I think that everyone always eats meat and meat is popular food. Meat is
sold everywhere. For example: Supermarket, Market. Everybody always buys meat for the big party because it is
delicious and cheap. Meat has a lot of proteins, if everyone eats a lot of meat they are intelligent and strong that’s
the reason. Why everyone eats meat. I like meat but sometimes I don’t eat meat because I have to change different
food each day otherwise. I will become fatter if I always eat only meat. However, I like meat best.
*Write about one thing that is important to you
Cell phone, You are the one of the most important things in my life. You keep me in touch with my family and
friends. Even if I don’t want to text I can always call or go on the internet to contact my friends that don’t have a cell
phone. Cell phone, you are a wonderful thing to have because you can help me when I am lost.
*Leisure activities :
As you know, Being humans we naturally need to take rest on our leisure time, to recover the stress of work and
every day life.
In fact every individual needs to take part in different activities
Some people like participating in outdoor activities, such as: running, walking, swimming, going fishing, or
playing in sport…. Because they have sitting jobs, these people spend all day sitting on a chair to their work. At the
end of a working day, they may have a backache, and their bodies become tired. These people are usualy an
accountant; secretary ; lawyer; cashier…
Some other people like taking part in indoor activities, such as reading books; watching TV; listenning to music;
relaxing in bed…. Because these people have physical jobs, after work they don’t want to run five kilometers,

because they are already physically tired, they want to take rest for their body. These people are usually doctor;
worker, farmer, carpenter(thợ mộc)Collier(thợ mỏ than)Cowboy(người chăn bò)diver( thợ lặn)electrician(thợ điện).
For me, I prefer to take part in outdoor activities. I like swimming, running, playing sport, especially playing
badminton. I feel more comfortable and stronger after taking part in those activities, so I spend at least one hour in a
day on leisure activities
To sum up, leisure activity is very neccessary for people. So we should choose what is the best for us.
These are provided so you can see the kind of questions you may get and possible ways to answers them.

They will also give you ideas of the sorts of things you can talk about.
They are NOT here for you to try and learn them to use in the test.
Firstly, although there are common topics that come up, they can all vary slightly, so if you give a learned response
you may not answer the question. Also, examiners will be able to spot if you are using learned responses as you will
not sound natural.
The following IELTS speaking questions with answers are based on part 1 of the test.
Hometown
Where is your hometown?
My hometown's in Hanoi, which is the capital city of Vietnam. It's located in the north of the country, not really that
far from the southern Chinese border.
Is there much to do in your hometown?
Oh yes, there's certainly lots to do there as it's a fairly big city. If you like going out in the evening there are a lot of
good restaurants and bars. If you prefer cultural activities there are museums and art galleries. But if you like nature
there are lots of other things outside of the city which are easy to reach.
What are the people like in your hometown?
They are mostly quite friendly, but as with most big cities everyone is often busy so it may seem as if they are not
interested in speaking or having a chat. But if you live there you know that most people are quite happy to have a
chat if they have time and will help you if needed.
Studies
What are you studying at the moment?
I'm studying history at university. It's a four year course, and I started it three years ago, so I have just one year left.

I'm enjoying it a lot so it will be sad to finish.
What do you like most about your studies?
We learn about many things from the past such as politics and wars, but I like learning about how people lived in the
past the most. It's amazing to see how our lives have changed so much from the past up until now. In some ways our
lives have got much easier now, but in other ways the simplicity of life in the past made people much happier.
Learning about all that is fascinating.
What do you hope to do in the future when you have finished?
I'm not sure at the moment, but I may go into teaching. This is why I'm doing the IELTS, as I intend to carry on and
do a Masters in a specific area of history. I'll probably decide for sure what to do when I have completed that.
Work
What is your job?
I currently work as an office manager at a large marketing company. I've been in the job for about five years now.
I'm usually assigned to work with a specific business in order to improve their sales through various marketing
strategies.
Do you have to work with other people?
Oh yes, all the time. It's a big office and we all have to work as a team if we want to achieve results. I have
colleagues I need to liaise with such as the graphic designers and I also have administration staff who work under
me. And of course I also have to work alongside the companies that we provide marketing for. So yes, I definitely
have to work with other people.
Do you think you will change jobs in the future?
Well, that's not something I'm thinking about at the moment as I really enjoy what I do and it's a really good
company to work for. The pay is good and they have other good benefits such as flexi-time and end of year bonuses.
But that said, change is always a good thing, so I can't see me being there forever. I'm sure I will change one day.
Leisure time
What do you like to do in your free time?
I do quite a lot of sport actually. I play football mostly - on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoon with a local
team. I also play tennis and squash when I can but I don't really get the time to do them as well every week. I work
quite hard at the moment, so I don't get a lot of free time unfortunately.
Have your leisure activities changed since you were a child?
Not a great deal actually. I used to love playing football when I was young as well - I played a lot at school. Though

of course I did all the other things kids loved to do such as going out on bike rides after school and things.
Do you prefer to spend your free time alone or with other people?
It depends on my mood really. I think most people need some time on their own. Sometimes my work is quite
stressful and I spend a lot of time there with others, so it's good to just get home and relax and read a book or
something. But I get bored if I am alone too much so I like to go out and meet friends in the evening or play
football.
Time
Are you good at managing your time?
Actually I'd say I'm not too good! I don't really have a system in place to organize things. I know some people have
an electronic organizer or use some device to plan what they are doing but I don't do that. But I always make sure I
am on time for appointments and things like that, and I meet deadlines and get things done.
How do you manage your time?

As I said, I don't have any specific system in place to manage my time. For example, if I am at work and I have a lot
of cases, I just go through them each day and decide which I need to tackle first. At work we do have an online diary
which I guess I use, so in that sense I do manage my time to an extent.
When is it most important for you to manage your time?
I think it is probably when you are at work. When out of work, it's not really going to affect things too much, or at
least only yourself, if you are late to meet friends or for an appointment, or if you are getting things done in your
house. But at work, it will cause problems if you don't manage your time effectively because you could miss
deadlines or miss appointments. You could lose your job. So at work is when it is most important to manage your
time.
Books
What kind of books do you like to read?
I mostly like to read biographies. I'm not sure why but it is interesting to read about people's real lives, especially
when they have had interesting lives and have had to deal with many problems. I do read fiction as well, but I often
find it difficult to get hold of a book that I really like. I also like reading about books to do with current affairs.
Do you read the same kind of books now that you read when you were a child?
Not really, no. Actually I didn't read that much when I was a child, but if I did it was mainly fiction books, such as

fairy tales. Things like The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Fantasy things.
When do you think is the best time to read?
I think any time is ok, but when I read I like to concentrate, so I can't read for a short time like on a bus ride like
some people do. I like to put time aside to enjoy it. So if I have some free time at the weekend I might read for a few
hours. And I nearly always read before I go to bed - this really helps me to sleep.
Art Galleries
Are there many art galleries where you live?
No, not that I know of. I live in a small town so I don't think there are any, though we do have a few museums and
other cultural institutions. In our capital city there are quite a few art galleries, however.
Did you like to go to art galleries when you were a child?
I've never been that interested in art to be honest, so not really. We were taken to one as part of a trip when I was at
school. It has a lot of paintings from famous artists from our country. It was quite interesting to see I guess but I've
not been to any since.
Should people have to pay to go to art galleries?
I think it depends really. If possible they should be free because if people do have to pay they are less likely to go
and see it. But on the other hand these things cost money so a small fee may be necessary if it can keep the art
gallery going and keep it open. Ideally though the government should pay for this as I believe this kind of thing is
paid for by our taxes.
Swimming
Can you swim?
Yes I can. I learnt at school when I was about 7 years old. Swimming lessons were compulsory at our school, like
most schools I think.
Are there many places to swim near you?
Yes, there are a few public swimming pools. There is the main indoor one at a big sports complex in the center of
town. There are also a couple of outdoor ones, but you can only use them in summer as it is be too cold in winter.
One is a big one in a park, the other is a much smaller one.
Do you think everyone should learn to swim?
Of course, I think it's very important. Firstly, you spend much of your life on holiday by water, for example, when
you go to the beach on holiday, so you won't be able to enjoy yourself with your friends if you can't swim. Also, for
safety reasons it's very important. You often hear about sad accidents involving young children so it's very

important.
*What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would use money from winning the lottery to do charity because there are many people who are living in an

educational funds for my niece and nephews.

watching people open them, and I love eating a nice meal with my family.

I think traveling by bus is the best way in my city because it is much cheaper and safer, and beneficial to the
environment.
Do you like to travel by train?

Yes, I quite like them. If you are on a train you can relax and look out the window, read, use your lap top - it's all
quite comfortable. On the bus it's more difficult to do those things because there is less space and the movement can
make you travel sick too. The only problem with trains in my country is that they are often delayed or late. That can
ruin your journey.
Where do you usually go by train?
It's usually on long trips across the country if I want to visit friends or I have an appointment somewhere. For short
journeys around where I live or to work it's much easier to drive or take the bus. As I said before, you can do things
such as read on the train so it's good for long journeys.

When was the last time you travelled by train?
Er....I'm not quite sure, let me think. It was a while ago now. I think the last time was last year when I went up to see
some friends I had not seen for a while in the north of the country. Yes, that was it. It was a journey of about 3 hours
and I had to change trains once during the journey. The first train was a bit crowded and noisy as I think there were
people on there going to a football match, but it was an ok trip most of the way..

using the car. However, it's true that the car causes pollution and damages the environment.
I like to travel by bike because, cycling is a inexpensive form of transport. You do no have to spend money on
things such as petrol or costly repairs. Moreover, cycling helps you stay fit as well as improve my health.. It’s a
good form of exercise, particulary for the legs, heart and lungs. Finally, cycling is an environmentally-firiendly way

spend a lot of time with our friends, travelling with them is different and a way to strengthen a friendship.
*Do you plan for your holiday ?

Planning is the key to a successful holiday for anyone, and especially for people on the autism spectrum.Ideally, you
will be able to take part in planning a holiday yourself: deciding where to go and how to get there, where to stay and

Tommy.I spend most of my time with the dog after coming back from work. I go on a walk with the dog. The dog
feels very whenever I take it for a walk. I also have to take care of the medicines of the dog because was remaining

feeling of seeing the dog happy is simply sweet.I live a very isolated life. I do not have much friends and I do not
know to relate to this fake world. I think that the only original and true feeling I have is for my dog. I can share both

* Reasons Why People Go On Holiday?
-To relax: Sometimes there’s nothing better than sitting by a pool or on the beach and getting into a good book.
Those that do feel instantly relaxed
-To take a break : Occasionally, it’s not that we want a holiday, it's that we need one. If life's too hectic at
homepeople often use a holiday to escape
-To experience a new culture: From museums and galleries to rich history and amazing people, new countries offer
new cultural experiences and (unless they're Karl Pilkington) tourists thoroughly enjoy it
-For adventure: Travelling is good for the soul and there's no better adventure than one in another country
- To watch a sporting event: From football to athletics, the world (and Europe in particular) has a host of sporting
events that people flock to see

-To visit loved ones: People's friends and family are often now based all around the world, which means seeing them

requires a flight overseas
*Describe a job that you would like to do in the future.
A job I would like to do in the future would be to work as a foreign correspondent journalist. I’m somebody who
loves to travel and loves to learn about other cultures and the way they work, and also the history of other countries
and places around the world. So this is a job that really is attractive to me. I also really enjoy writing. It’s something
I get a lot of pleasure from, so that job would allow me to combine my interests in travel, learning about the world
and also writing.
*Is there a job you would never want to do ?
"Being a police officer because they are too violent and dangerous. I mean they can protect us sometimes, but a lot
of them do stuff themselves. I don't want to be a police officer."

lessons for the coming week. Phew! In school, teachers are juggling between different responsibilities. Controlling
the entire hyperactive class. Check. Paying individual attention to each student. Check. Organizing extra-curricular
activities. Again check.
A teacher’s job is the most difficult job in the world. But it’s also the most rewarding one. Every nation has a day
dedicated to their teachers. Today, India celebrates its Teachers Day in honor of the birth anniversary of Dr.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan: a great teacher, philosopher, and also the former President of the country.
*Which is more difficult living ? in a countryside or in a big city ?
I think that in the country the problem of crime isn't so big. There aren't so many people and they usually know each
other well. The possibility of robbery or other crime is relatively lower. Life in the countryside is more peaceful
and the life is also slower. What is more, it is less stressful. There isn't any time pressure and the traffic conditions
are better. A lot of places you may reach on foot.
*Describe a character you admire most:
Mr. Bean is a comedy show about a man whose whole life is one funny situation after another. He hardly talks, but
words are not needed. Everything he does is funny. From playing golf, going to the dentist, and going to church. Mr.
Bean is a grown man, but he acts like a child. He has a stuffed bear named Teddy that he carries around with him all
the time. This show is full of laugh after laugh! Not a patch on the TV series, in which Mr Bean had a penchant for
petty nastiness and childishly knowing humour. Without these aspects, the character is simply an idiot, stumbling
through the plot like a clueless dolt who is in a situation that is way over his head.He is annoying, yet clever, smart,

yet dumb, similar to The Three Stooges, goofy, catches you by surprise, yet you know he is going to do something
dumb, simple minded, innocent, doesn't speak and above all, still annoying!
*Describe an interest or hobby that you particularly enjoy:
Everybody has different hobbies that he or she would like to do for fun or relaxation. They can be either physical
activities like jogging, football, swimming, skateboarding… or mental activities like reading, watching movies,
playing computers… and depend on each personality. For me I like reading. This hobby got started when I was a
little boy. I always had my grandfather read fairy tales and other stories to me. So as soon as I could, I learned to
read. I started with simple ABC books. Soon I could read simple fairy tales and other stories.I often spend my
money on books so I have a large collection of books of my own now.My books are on many fields: literature,
science, art, fiction and non-fiction and English books, too.Everyday,I go to school, do my homework as well as
learn my lesson.Besides this, I read books in my spare time.Through books I can know and learn a lot of different
things such as: about how people lived in bygone days of magic and mystery, the wonders of the world, space travel,
human achievements, gigantic whales, tiny viruses and other fascinating things of our world. Books provide us with
so much information and facts. They have certainly helped me in my daily life.Reading books broadens my mind and
improves my knowledge as well as contributes to the moral and intellectual formation of a man’s personality. It is
indeed a good hobby.
Describe a party that you enjoyed
The party that I enjoyed very much was my 18th birthday. It was taken three months ago. My parents held this party
for me at my home and I invited all my cronies to attend. To start the party, I blew out the candles on the birthday
cake while everyone was singing the song Happy Birthday. After that, they gave some gifts, cards and best wishes to
me. We ate a lot of delicious food and beverage. During the party, we played many funny games and this was a
reason which made me like the party very much. One of the games that I won called "Finding idioms". I won
because I found many strange and good idioms such as dance to another tune, raining cats or dogs, paint the town
red, etc. At the end of the party, I opened all gifts and took a lot of photos with my cronies. This party was nothing
but fun and games. However, it was beautiful and memorable.
Describe a useful website you visited
I want to talk about a website called IELTS-Simon, which is a website I use and check every day. This is a website
dedicated for the preparation of the IELTS exam. It is updated on a daily basis and is maintained by an ex-IELTS
examiner called Simon.I don't really remember how I found out about this website, but I guess it popped out when I
was googling for some IELTS materials on the web about two years ago. Since then, I've been using and reading its

contents every day.Of all the IELTS related websites available on the Internet, I think this is the most useful one
because of the following reasons. Firstly, we can expect a new IELTS lesson every day, and the lesson could be for
the Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking part. Secondly, besides IELTS materials, Simon also gives us plenty of
useful advice on grammar and tips to get high scores for this challening exam. And thirdly, which I think is the most
important, visitors of this website can make comments and/or ask questions, which makes things more interactive
and productive at the same time. All in all, this is a wonderful website that I recommend it to everyone preparing for
the IELTS.
A useful website I want to introduce to you is Hujiang Net. It is for English study and it is really a very
useful website for me. It is also a famous website in English study field. I am so grateful there is such a beneficial

website.First, it has aboundant resources on Hujiang net. You can find everything you need. For leisure or for exam
purpose. As for leisure, you can watch good movies or listen to nice English songs on line which the editors selected
for you. As for exam, there are so many information for IELTS,TOFLE or GRE. Any resources you need can be
downloaded in the website. Second, the website also has a good BBS. It’s easy for you to communicate with others
about your experiences during the process of learning English. When you encounter problems, you can put your
questions on BBS, someone who knows the answer must give you suggestions on how to resolve the problem.BBS
is like a community, you can make friends on it as well. It is a good place for you to learn English or learn from each
other.Hujiang net also provides blog function where you can express your ideas on the private space. I built my
English blog on hujiang net, putting my exercises and articles on it. It’s not only an
interesting experence for me, but also a kind of persistence of learning English.Last but not least, hujiang net
provides a unique functure for English learners. That is dictation function which is very popular among the users of
hujiang net. You can dictate English news which includes news from BBC and VOA on line. The main page is
updated everyday. Dictation is not easy to persist in, but if you set aside less than one hour to dictate English news,
you must make an amazing progress after one-year persistence. It is a tough work. I read an article of a user of
hujiang, he shared his experience of one-year dictation and now he is easy to understand the English news and
movies. Just one year, dictating everyday. That is an admirable thing for me.
Which is your favorite Type of music.
There's no doubt that everyone of us has his own favorite type of music. There are lots of music types such as:Pop ,
Rock and roll , Jazz , Classic , Rap and Hip hop. Some people prefer to listen to Pop music while others love the Jazz

kind of music and thats depends on people's opinion. How ever, music types can identify the person's personality For
example, when a person is listening to classic music you can know that he's a romantic person with a very quiet
personality on the other hand, when a person is listening to Jazz or Hip hop music you can know that he is a bold
person with a strong personality. For me, I love to listen to pop music and sometimes to classical music for lots of
reasons:First, I think it's so romantic and it explains lots of things about love, care and passion. Then, classic music is
so quiet and won't get you a headache like other kinds of music. Moreover, I believe that the main reason for music
is to feel the lyrics and the melodies at the same time and even to feel the singer's point , but in noisy music it's hard
to feel all of these things because you can't hear the singer's voice when the music is so high and bad.In other word,
we shouldn't forget that people's opinions are diffrent and if I hate something other person may love it and like to
listen to it.In conclusion, and for all those reasons I prefer to listen to the quiet kind of music that can make you feel
the lyrics and the melodies at the same time.
*Describe a book that you have read recently.
I have recently read a book about the history of South Africa. It is called ‘ The Covenant’, and was written by a
famous American author called James Mitchener. It describes the history from the very first days, up to the present.
It covers all aspects of the country, but focuses on the people of the country. For example, he looks at the political
situation over the past fifty years, which was based on racial discrimination and had become known to the world as
‘apartheid’
*Describe your neighbor
• What kind of relations do you have with your neighbors?
• Do you help out your neighbors?
• Should a person have good relations with his or her neighbors?
I have very good relations with my neighbors. Actually my best friend is my neighbor. I spend most of my leisure
time with my neighbors as I know them since my childhood. I can share all my feelings with them and they can also
do the same.
I try to help out my neighbors as much as I can. Last year a child was cycling in the street and suddenly he fell
which caused him a lot of bleeding. I rushed towards the child took him in my arms. There was nobody around me
so I had to take him to the hospital alone. As I was going towards the hospital I was getting worried and tears were
coming out of my eyes and the child was just like a little brother to me. I reached the hospital on time and my
neighbor got all the medical attention he needed.
I feel that a person should have very good relations with their neighbors because they are living close to us and they

can provide us immediate help; furthermore, my religion has ordered me to keep good relations with the neighbors.
We should try to lessen the grief of our neighbors and try to share our happiness with them.
*Describe something you bought recently.-Describe a gift you gave or received.-Describe something you own
which is
important to you.
I would like to talk about a mobile phone my dad purchased it for me as a gift 2 months ago. It is an HTC HD 2
smartphone with lots of capabilities including 5 MP Camera, integrated WIFI, big storage and over 3 hours’ time of
battery life. I use the phone every day to keep in touch with my friends either by calling them or using the sms
functionality to send them text messages or even video messages. In my spare time, I like to hear music so I use my
phone to listen to music using an integrated mp3 player. Sometimes I feel the need to check my Hotmail inbox so in
a push of a button I use the phone’s browser to check my emails online. This is an extremely useful feature. It even
has a calendar that reminds me about appointments. So I don’t have to miss any !My phone is becoming an essential
part of my life. It actually holds all my contacts, my photos, my music collection, my recorded videos. I also got an
instant access to my favorite websites. It is like having my whole life in my pocket.

Describe a teachers’ day.
Teachers’ Day falls on the twentieth of November. Every year, our school will celebrate this day by holding a
concert specially for the principal and teachers. This year was no exception. On that day, the whole school proceeded
to the hall after morning assembly. Every class was involved in the concert. There were dances, sketches, mimes and
songs. All the performers did their best and the concert was a great success. After the concert, we went back to our
classes to have our class parties. My classroom was transformed into a party hall. When our form teacher came into
the class, she was very surprised indeed. We had food, drinks and presents for her. Some of us even made cards for
her and she was very touched. At the end of the day, everyone was in a good mood. I felt that, as students, we should
thank our teachers for teaching us our lessons so patiently and cheerfully. What better opportunity is there for us to
show our appreciation than on Teacher’s Day?
*Describe the house you are living in. Why do you love it?
The house we are living in is situated in the suburb of HCM city, within thirty minutes’ drive off the central city. We
have lived there for more than twenty years. This is a fairly large house surrounded with a luxuriant garden. My
house consists of four bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It
is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung
on the walls. At night, the color neon lights increase the beauty and coziness of the room. There, on Sundays and
holidays my father usually spends his time playing chess or drinking tea with his friends. My mother and my two
sisters are diligent and hard-working women. They often keep the house clean and tidy.On suffocating days of
summer, we usually take meals in the garden. It is fairly cool and quiet here. We enjoy our meals amid the
melodious twitters of birds. On stormy and rainy nights all whole family members gather in the living-room,
watching television or telling each other about their daily activities.I love my house very much because it is the
place where I was born and have grown up in the education of my father and in the tender loving care of my mother.
I have spent my whole childhood in the love and affection of my dear ones with so many sweet memories.
*An equipment you use other than a computer ( mobile phone)
We use many things in our day to day life.An equipment I use other than the computer is a mobile phone. My father
gifted me this mobile phone when I passed my 10th class with good marks. It is a small mobile – a Samsung X-210
model. It is black in colour, rectangular and slips into my pocket easily. It is a folder type model. It has many features
like watch, calculator, FM radio, alarm, timer and a memory card to store phone numbers. It does not have a camera
but all other features are very useful.I can also play games on my mobile.I value this phone a lot because my father

worked overtime in his office to save money for this mobile. He knew I had always wanted one .I never misuse it.I
use it to stay connected with my family when I am away from home. Many new models of mobile phones have come
in the market but in my eyes this is and will always be the best mobile phone. My heart skips a beat even at the
thought of losing it or parting with it.
*Which season of the year do you like best?
There are four clear seasons in Viet Nam: Spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each season has its own features
and attractions. I like spring the most. There are the following reasons:firstly,It offers us nice and comfortable
weather,it is sunny and warm.Besides, everything becomes green and flowers with lots of colours
everywhere.Secondly,It is a time when many nice festivals occur, especially traditional festival as known Tet
Holiday in Vietnam. It is also a good chance for people to get together with their family members and relatives. We
also returned to our families during Tet, to worship at the family altar and to visit the graves of the
ancestors.Lastly, this is the best time of year for an outdoor activities such as picnicking, camping, swimming,
fishing etc...
Which is your favorite pet?-How do you take care of the pet?-Why do you like it?
My favorite pet is a dog. There was a time when I used to be afraid of dogs. My uncle gifted me a dog 2 years ago
and I told him that I was too afraid of dogs and I could not keep it. He did not agree and he told me to keep the dog
with me for some time and eventually I would develop a liking for the dog. I used to see the dog sitting in my
garden, and every time I passed the dog stood up and got happy. I knew the dog had started loving me and after that
it was impossible for me to ignore it. After that I also gave a name to the dog and the name which I gave to it was
Tommy.I spend most of my time with the dog after coming back from work. I go on a walk with the dog. The dog
feels very whenever I take it for a walk. I also have to take care of the medicines of the dog because was remaining
very ill in the past. I also have to bathe the dog. The moment I put water on the dog becomes very happy and the
feeling of seeing the dog happy is simply sweet.I live a very isolated life. I do not have much friends and I do not
know to relate to this fake world. I think that the only original and true feeling I have is for my dog. I can share both
good and bad times with the dog.
Why is it necessary to learn English?
English is the international language of business. In order to discuss our country's products and services with other
people as well as to entice(loi keo) investment from foreign lands, we must do so in English. To communicate our
thoughts and ideas to other cultures, the best tool is English. Communication is our link to the outside world and, in
turn, our chance at economic growth. Most leading countries in the world either speak English or have English as

their second language. There are the countries that have the resources, technology and knowledge to help us grow.
We are also invited to learn so much from English speakers. We can experience the foods of Ireland, the natural

resources of Canada, the monuments of the U.S., the desert 'areas of Australia or the best fishing ports in New
Zealand, just by talking with, these citizens. We, in turn, can also express our feelings and interests about Vietnam.
The sharing of this kind of information is a bridge to long term friendships with people from all over the world
*Give me some opinion on the transportation in your city?
In my opinion, one of the biggest problems of transportation is traffic jams in Anyang city. It has become common to
see passengers and drivers having to wait in long lines of buses and cars moving at a snail's pace on the streets
during the rush hours. There are several reasons for this problem. First, the number of vehicles is increasing much
more rapidly than the building of roads. Second, there seem to be too many private cars and not enough public
buses. Third, many people, including drivers, pedestrians and cyclists do not obey traffic rules properly, especially
at busy intersections. In my opinion, one of the biggest problems of transportation is traffic jams in Anyang city. In
view of the seriousness of this problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. On the one hand,
the government should invest more money in the building of new roads and the repairing and maintenance of old
ones, particularly those in busy areas of the cities. On the other hand, the number of private cars in urban areas
should be limited while the number of public buses should be increased. At the same time, it is essential that stricter
traffic rules and regulations be issued to strengthen traffic control.
*Talk about the most interesting journey that you had when you were young. Please say
I remember one particular journey I went on when I was about six years old, with my parents.
We travelled by car up north and the thing that I remember most was the amazing scenery which was quite different
from where we used to live. I couldn’t really remember seeing big mountains before that trip, but the ones I saw
were so huge and steep that I recall being seriously impressed by them. I also saw some amazing rivers running
down through the mountains and I can remember there was a waterfall, with the water cascading down the side of
one of the mountains, and I also saw a lot of animals that you wouldn’t normally see living in a city. It was a long
trip, I seem to remember it took most of the day, although we stopped every now and then to take a break and have
something to eat before continuing. I remember that for a lot of the time I just sat in the car and my face was like
pushed up to the window just watching all these things go past as we travelled along the road. Every time I thought I
had seen the tallest mountain – we would go round the next bend in the road and there was an even taller mountain

right in front. As we went up the mountain road you could see right down into the valley below and I remember
feeling a little afraid because I thought if the car fell off the road then we would drop all the way down to the bottom
– it was a long way down. It’s funny thinking about it now.I guess that particular journey was important for me
because it was the first time I really remember seeing really different landscape from the normal things I would see
where I grew up – so it was really impressive and I can still remember the colours and the different smells in the air
as we drove along the road.
*MY ROOM
My room is rather small but it looks nice and attractive .It is a small rectangular room with a white ceiling
and green walls .As you enter the room , you can see 2 large windows with gold curtains. My bed ,covered with a red
and gold bed spread , is under the windows. On your left , against the wall, there is a large bookcase filled with many
kinds of books and magazines.Opposite the bed is a small desk and a chair.Besides this , there are some posters and
pictures on the wall : The one that is over the bookcase shows an interesting scene from our countryside , the other
is over the desk is of my favorite singer. To the right of the room opposite the bookcase and the desk is a closet with
clothes ,shoes and hats … out of it’s sliding doors.Next to the closet beside the door is a dresser with a mirror over it
.
Describe a village you know well
I was born and have grown up in the country in a small village beside a beautiful river. My village is surrounded in a
hedge of green bamboos. Most of the houses in the village are built of brick and have red tiled roofs. In the middle of
the village there is an old pagoda with high trees around it. On the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, the
villagers often go to the pagoda to give offerings to The God of Agriculture. On the right of the village flows quietly
a clear and blue river. When I was young, I used to swim in the river with my friends. How can I forget the
wonderful time on this river fishing or rowing a boat with my boyhood friends! On the left of the village lies the
village green where village meetings are often held by village officials. On this ground covered with soft grass we
used to fly kites on windy autumnal evenings. The majority of villages live on agriculture. They get rich thanks to
their fertile rice-fields and their diligence. Harvest time is certainly the busiest and the merriest time of the year.
During the harvest, the villagers often get up very early in the morning. They cheerfully go to their rice-fields to
harvest the bumper crop – the fruit of many months of hard work.My villagers are very friendly and helpful. They
are willing to offer mutual help in any case and always get on with one another harmoniously. My village is rather
small indeed but I like it very much because I was born and have grown up there and spent my happiest childhood
among the simple and hard-working villagers who always feel attached to their native land.

*A birthday I celebrated
A day I shall always remember is the day when I celebrated my tenth birthday. All my friends and relatives were
invited to the birthday party. When the time drew near for me to be ready for the party, I put on my birthday dress
which I was specially sewn for me. Then I went into the hall where everyone was waiting for me. I saw a lot of
lovely presents on a table. They had been bought for me by all those who came to the party.
A few minutes later, my parents bought my birthday cake with ten candles on it. It was a large and beautiful cake. I
was then asked to cut it. Though I felt rather uneasy, with so many eyes upon me, I somehow managed to cut a
piece. The guests were then served. Music was played throughout the party. There were also jokes and laughter
among the guests. When the party was over, I unpacked all my birthday gifts. I was surprised to see such lovely gifts.
I then thanked my parents for holding such a pleasant party to celebrate my birthday.
3.Describe your school:
I am very pleased to study in my school because it is a good school. It’s Hoang Hoa Tham Junior High school
.

Situated in the countryside , my school isn’t very big compared with others but it is quite green ,nice and
clean .My school has been built for a long time .It consists of 4 blocks of building with 15 classrooms which are
surrounded by a large yard of shady trees and flowers. In this academic year ,there are 30 classes with more than
1200 students. There are 2 sessions in my school, the one in the morning and the other in the afternoon .The students
of my school study hard and obey the school regular seriously. Thanks to the teacher’s devotion and student’s effort ,
my school has achieved good result in every field .The Ho Chi Minh communist Youth Union of the school also
organizes extra curricular activities such as : camping , sport , music competitions and community work .In
addition , my school also has a spacious play ground for sport activities like soccer , badmindton , volleyball … Our
boy and girl students are good athlets and has won the first and second prizes in athletics competition .Moreover ,
they also take part in exams for excellent students such as Math , English , Chemistry … and has got good result
.Besides this , my school has a library where we can come to read or do research .
I have studied in my school for 3 years .I love my school so much because it has given me a lot of
unforgetable memories during my student days there .*Write about your house :
Located in the countryside, my house isn’t big but it’s very nice. It has been built of brick for over 20 years.
It has 6 rooms: a living rooms, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a toilet. Behind my room, there is a nice small garden with

many trees and flowers. In front of the house, we put some ornamental plants to make the house more acttractive
and natural. On the first floor is the living room which has lots of furnitures: tables, chairs, armchairs, sofa,
television, bookshelf …. The next is the three bedroom where we often go to bed or relax. Behind the three bedroom
is the kitchen where we often cook meals and sit together to have meals. And the last is the bathroom and thet oilet.
*The benefits of sports and physical exercises
Nobody can deny the benefits of sports and physical exercises.
In fact, such sports as: swimming, jogging, jumping, playing tennis, football, basket - ball, volley - ball, skating,
skiing etc bring us a well - proportioned body.
When we practise a certain sport, our muscles are developed; blood circulates easily in blood vessels therefore we'll
have a good appetite and a sound sleep
As for me, my favourite sport is jogging in the morning and playing tennis in the afternoon. By practicing these
sports regularly I always feel fit and never get sick.
Health is much more precious than money. We can't lead a happy life if we are continually tortured by diseases.
Try to keep a clear mind in a healthy body and get accustomed to regular practice of certain sports, we'll feel life
worth living.
*What would be to your mind an ideal education system?:
A country is weak or powerful, which depends on its education system. Realizing the important role of education in
life, Ho Chi Minh, in one of his speeches on education, said: “For the sake of ten years’ benefits, plant trees; for the
sake of one hundred years’ benefits, educate people.”An ideal education system must try to carry out the following
aims.First, training human personality both mentally and physically is important. It is said that a sound mind is in a
healthy body. The morality and the quality of a man must be the main concern of the Department of
Education.Second, schools must be connected closely with families and society. Schools must always encourage
pupils’ families to cooperate in educating their children.Third, the practical side of education must be emphasized.
An ideal education system must not be entirely theoretical; on the contrary, theory must be linked up with practice.
Besides the cultivation of knowledge for young generations, ideal education must train them to have great capacity
and skills so that they are ready to make steady progress in life.Fourth, society is more and more developed;
therefore, textbooks and curriculums must be often supplemented in accordance with present and future needs.Fifth,
training and tempering a passionate love for one’s country in every citizen’s heart, ready to serve their country in
peacetime and to fight courageously to protect their fatherland in wartime. The examples of sacrifice of our heroes
in the past as well as in the present must be introduced through textbooks in elementary schools.Sixth, training and

forming educators, teachers and professors of good conduct and high quality, teaching and educating students and
pupils to hold their teachers in the greatest veneration and respect. Furthering the traditions to respect teachers and
esteem morality highly in every class of people. To sum up, an ideal education is the nucleus of an ideal society.
Favorite room in the house
Everyone in this world has a favorite place. Some people tend to stay at their workplaces and some people like to
spend time at restaurants, but I an introvert and I mostly like to spend time at my home. I love my house and my
favorite room in my house is my bedroom. My bedroom is on the first floor of my house and it is a very beautiful
room.I spend most of time in my bedroom. The first thing is that I sleep in my bedroom, so it is the place which
gives me the ultimate relaxation. I also like to watch movies in my room. Some people like to watch movies in their
living room but I think otherwise. I want privacy and my bedroom is the only place where I can get it. There is no
noise, no disturbance. My friends also like my room and whenever they come to my house they prefer to sit in my
room.Well if you want me talk about the room; I would say that my room has all the things which a person can
dream of. It has a TV, air-conditioner, bed and sofa. The interior of the room was done by my sister and she spent a
lot of time decorating it in a very unique way. She is really inspired by the Mughal style so gave that kind of touch
in my room which makes it quite exquisite.I like my room but there are certain changes I would like to make in it.
Firstly I am not satisfied with the size of the room. I want my room to be bigger because I would to put more stuff in
it. The other change I would I like to make in my room is that I would like to put some paintings in the room. The
wall looks empty and sad without paintings. I went to an exhibition recently and I was really impressed by the art
collections and I am thinking about buying some stuff for my room
*Talk about an ideal house:
At first when I thought of purchasing a house, I wanted one that was neither too far nor too near a town. If it was too
far, I may feel lonely and then, there was the question of transport. Finally, I chose an elevated, land enabling easy
drainage and firm. The site is spacious allowing ground for the house and a decent big garden. I wanted an elegant
look for the house I intended to build. The house has four rooms with a well-furnished kitchen and modern bathroom
facilities. The living rooms are comfortable. The furniture has been chosen with great care. The walls have been

painted with soft colors to match the curtains, the materials of which had been bought from the best textile
manufacturing company. Each room is fitted with a radio so that one can enjoy programs from the bed. The drawing
room is elegantly furnished with sofas, chairs and a central table. The walls are lined with built-in cupboards, a

library to house well-chosen volumes by master novelists. There is a niche for the television and the room can be
used for viewing programs. All the rooms are airy and air-conditioned.The kitchen is beautifully done up. It is fitted
with electric grills and things can be stacked neatly away in specially designed cabinets. It is provided with modern
gadgets for grinding, pulverizing or cutting. In front of the house there is an artificial pool with a fountain spray. One
or two fish tanks are kept in the big porch to add the beauty of the place. There is a garage at the side of the house
for my car, cattle and poultry. There I keep a few fowls of the high breed like the white leg horn, Black Monorca,
and Rhode Island from which I get a supply of eggs and meat. I have two jersey cows in the shed which supply the
milk for the family. In the backyard there are a few fruit bearing trees. On the margin of the house, there are some
coconut trees. In front of the house there are certain bushes of croton and exotic plants. The well-kept lawn with
luscious green grass is very pleasing to the eye. There is also a small playground for my children with a swing.I
have a couple of chandeliers in the drawing room showing rainbow colored lights whenever light falls on them. I
could specially mention the marble Buddha I got from Sian and a bronze Nataraja from India. There are a few
selected pictures by masters in gilded frames. Thus I am surrounded by beauty and peace
*Describe a person you admire.
-I would like to tell you about my father whom I admire most because he has been a major influence in my life.My
father was always a good role model for me to learn from as I was growing up.He is a man of average height,in his
sixties but he looks younger than he is.He is kind, patient anh helpful; he's also got a good sense of humour and
seems to get on well with everybody. Hopefully I've inherited some of these traits. In spite of being busy with his
work,my father often spend a little time with me, he teaches us how to behave and how to win people’s hearts and
even they teach us what is right and what is wrong. -I admire my father because I think he brought me and my
brothers/sisters up well; he was quite strict but always fair, and he has always been someone I can turn to for advice.
I think my father set a good example by working hard and having a positive outlook on life.I can say I love my
father so much.I wonder what will my life be like if I live without my father.
I love my father very much. He’s the person who usually takes care of me and feed me up today. When I make some
mistakes ,he is ready to forgive me because he also loves me a lot. I still remember that When I was at six years old,
I went to school, the person who took me to school for the first time was my father. He always was by me when I
needed. I think I will never forget that day. My father is the person I love best in the world.
*Describe a person in your family:
The person whom I like the most in family is my brother who is just younger to me. We are eight children, I am the
second and he is the third. He doesn’t look like me at all. He rather looks like my mother and is the most handsome

person in the family. He is closer to me than any other member of the family, more than even my parents. He is not
very good at his studies or in any arts and music, but is very good at heart. He is very good humoured, and you
know, makes everybody laugh with his witty conversation. He has a special way of attracting people towards
him.He is a very just person, and if there is a misunderstanding in the family, he is the first person to find a solution
to it. When he does something important, he comes to me and talks about it, and he usually he accepts my advice.
He is also quite daring and enterprising. Although he is not very educated he runs a very successful business and
lives a happy life.I like him very much, mainly because he understands me more than any other member of my
family. He has also supported me and stood with me whenever I had a serious problem or trouble. So I would say
that he is someone I like in my family.
*Write about the person you love most :
Of all my relatives, I think I love my grand father most. He is my father’s father and lives with my family.
He is 80 years of age but he looks younger and strong. He is a slender man of medium height. He has short black
hair and a round face with clear and expressive eyes. He has a fair complexion that makes him look very healthy. He
often gets up early every morning and sit in the sitting room to drink tea or coffee. He is kind and friendly to
everyone. He is not too strict when we make mistakes. We often gather together to hear him tell about fairy tales or
historical stories. I like to converse with him in order to learn the experience he has encountered during his life. We
love our grandfather so much. Everytime, he is away, we miss him a lot .
*Describe a child
I would like to tell you about my son.He is a child of six in his infant. He ilooks healthy and handsome. He is crazy
and energetic but shy when he meets new people. He likes not only sports but also computer games in his spare
time.In school, he is a good pupil because he usually gets good marks and makes a lot of improvements.I always
praise him for every good thing. At home, I think he is a good son.But of course, kids at this stage tend to be
independent so he is sometimes very naughty, stubborn and disobedient .My son has one special skill,he know how
to amuse others. So he brings happiness to my family.
2.Describe your favorite teacher:
I was taught by a number of teachers both in the primary and secondary schools but the teacher I admire
and respect most is Mr Tuan who is my English teacher.
Mr.Tuan is a tall strong young man. He has a well built body. He has a grand personality. His appearance
is pleasing. He is always very neat and clean in his dress and person. The reason why he is my favorite teacher is
because of his characteristics. He is always helpful, friendly, and generous to everyone.Besides this,he has good

methods of teaching and is enthusisatic in teaching. Not only I but also all the students love his teaching style. His
method of teaching is very good. He has mastery over English. He always makes the lessons very interesting. He is
not satisfied unless every student in his class understands the lesson. He encourages the boys to talk in English. He
works very hard himself. He not only teaches in a traditional way but also find another way to transfer the lessons. A
good teacher need to find many kind of teaching method such as: using mass media, preparing presentation slide
show on computer; transferring knowledge through games… Being a creative teacher will make students enjoy
classes because they know there are many new and interesting things in your lessons. The things I like most about

him is his sense of justice so his behaviour is fair with all the students. he always treats all his students with equal
respect and doesn’t have any favorite. He doesn’t let his personal feeling about an individual influence his treatment
of him. Moreover,he has a good sense of humor. He knows how to make his students laugh when he knows that his
students are tired and need a break, this makes his lesson more interesting.
For the reasons I mentioned above,my favorite teacher is highly respected.

with my colleagues. My salary is satisfactory.I personally get pride and the sense of achievement from my job.I
believe I will be able to develop my career here.
*Why do you choose teaching?
There are many jobs in society nowadays.Every body choose his / her own job for his / her living. For me, I want to
be a teacher.Firstly,It is certain that teaching is noble career which is respected and honor. Because a teacher we are
respected as educated persons. Others will show their respect to teachers and have their great regard for them and
opinions that teachers give .Seconly, Being a teacher, we have to learn more. For example. If you teach English ,it is
important for you to read many books in English to make your lesson more interesting to you students. Moreover, a
teacher has more free time to read, learn and take some examinations to acquire more qualifications. In other words,
a good teacher often reads many other books which are not related to the subjects he or she is supposed to teach.
Another reason is that I love working with children! Everyday is different because each day the students have
something new and exciting to share with you. I love watching them take control over a subject and make comments
on their own to one another. The students bring so much to the room with their individual cultural backgrounds and
experiences. The last but not least, it is a way to personally try and make a difference in the world. Education opens
up opportunities for children and builds the future generation. For the reasons mentioned above, being a teacher can
help me to live a happy meaningful life.

PRACTICE TEST-FCE
1. what kind of building do you live in ?-I live in a detached house
2. describe a journey that you often make
I leave home at least an hour and a half before I need to arrive, which will often be half six in the morning. I catch a
bus, in the dark, in my home village. It takes almost half an hour to get to the bus interchange, by which time the sun

has risen enough for it to be starting to get light. I walk from my bus stop, through the interchange and across a road
to the city train station. I look for a train going to the nearest town to my destination, then walk through the station
to that platform and wait for anything between a few minutes to twenty minutes to get on a train. The train takes
between twenty minutes - thirty minutes depending on whether it's a direct or stopping service. When I get to the
nearby town, I walk from the station to the bus interchange, and find a bus to the village where I'm on placement.
The bus takes about fifteen minutes to get to the village, and I have to walk for a few minutes to get to the GP
practice. Currently, I'm paying using a monthly ticket that lets me travel on any public transport in the county - it
cost about £87 (about $140) for 28 days, and then I'll have to get three, weekly tickets. My travel for the placement
is going to cost about £155 (about $250), of which I can claim back about £74. See, fascinating...
*Describe a long distance journey you have been on

I visited India 2/3 years back and at that time I took a journey from Kolkata to New Delhi and then back to Kolkata
on the next day. This was indeed a very long journey compared to the usual journey I have had. It was probably
March, 2012 when I went to India to meet a colleague. I went to Kolkata to meet him and then an emergency
appeared to get back to my embassy in New Delhi. From the Kolkata train station I booked a seat in an express train
and started my journey alone. It took me more than 26 hours to reach New Delhi train station and after finishing my
task at the embassy I took a train again to get back to Kolkata.
The main transportation I used was express train and apart from that I had to take taxi and local tram during this
journey. After I took my seat in the train I started reading a book I had with me. After few hours I went to the lunch
boggy to have my lunch and there I met a person from my country. He was a photo journalist and we had a long
conversation. I slept in the train at night and listened to the music in my iPad. I bought some local English
magazines ad read interesting stuffs. In the next morning I reached New Delhi station and from there I went to my
embassy. I finished my tasks there and get back to another train to Kolkata. On my way back, I watched the villages
and people the train was passing and took many photos that I instantly updated in my blog. Apart from the long
hour’s journey and being alone in the whole journey, I enjoyed the trip.
*Why do you like going to a museum?
I can go to the British Museum and learn.about the history and cultures of the world in a way that's not limited to art
history or aesthetics. We found all the costumes and traditional things from different parts of the world have
been placed here. One can easily learn about the customs of different ages and countries. A museum is a place
where collection of artifacts and other things are preserved for public exhibition

*What would you buy if you suddenly had a lot of money
I'd probably say a ticket to go around the world and enough spending money as well but you know, that would be
amazing but everytime I want something and I buy it, then I want something different so if I went around the
world, I would come back and I would want a new car, or I'd want a house so I say a trip around the world
but probably that might change.
Do you want to be richer than you are now ?

I want to live comfortably in life, take care of family and start my own bussiness. But the main reason I would like
to be rich so I could give more to help people in need. That more important that having high quailty things

and enjoy strong feelings. They would like to challenge their abilities and potentials. They feel a sense of satisfaction
when they come face to face with their fears while cliff diving, shark fishing, and skydiving. In addition, going
through a dangerous experience gives them courage and confidence to overcome their daily problems that may arise.
*Why do you like living in the city ?
I prefer to live in big city than small city for the following reasons.First of all, it offers us more opportunity to get
well-paying jobs. Secondly, there are all kinds of entertainment for us relax like cinemas, theaters, concerts, sport
centers.Thirdly, medical care and service is better from reliable hospitals with good equipments and famous
doctors. The most important of all,we can have the best education since the city is a big educational and cultural
center where we can get good knowledge from many schools, colleges and universities with many good and
experienced teachers and professors in every field as well as excellent teaching aids and learning condition.
*What are your good and bad habits ?

all of us have some bad habits too and my bad habit is that I play PC videogames very much, sometimes I play them
continuously 5-6 hours. But now I am going to change my bad habit because it is very dangerous for all of us to as
the harmful rays from monitor screen can damage our eyes. My another bad habit is that I am very short temper
person and because of it I easily starts fighting with someone and I am going to change my this habit too to make it a
good habit. So I want to ask to ISCians that what is there good and bad habits.
*Write about your like and dislike.

I was born in 1996, so my hobbies are very strange. I will tell you as follow.
Firstly, I like listening to hip-hop music. I love it because it make me relax and I love dancing.I am not
good at dancing, but I often watch the dancers who can sing and dance with hip-hop music. I used to study how to
dance, but I can’t. Moreover, the hip-hop dancers always dance on the street. Athough it’s very dangerous , I think
dancing on the street is very wonderful. If I am older, I will learn how to dance and soon, I will be a good hip-hop
dancer.
However, I don’t like rock music because it’s very noisy and usually. I can’t understand what they sing, so I
dislike it. I wish they sang clearlier.
Secondly, watching TV is one of my hobbies. Although I am not a child, I love cartoons very much because
it is very funny. Sometimes I watch film. I watch from Romantic films to Action films. In my opinion, film is the
most interesting. There are a lot of films on TV, so we can watch day and night. Moreover TV is very cheap, the
poor can get access to it, too. Nobody can deny that TV is a great invention of our life.
On the other hand, I dislike listening to the radio. It is quite boring because I cannot see the image. Reading
books is boring, too. One book is not thin. It is always more than 100 pages. I am too lazy to read a book. Usually, I
fall asleep when I am reading.
After all, hip-hop music and watching TV are both great to me. However, I hate rock music, listening to the
radio and reading books.
MY FAVORITE HOBBY
Everybody has different hobbies that he or she would like to do for fun or relaxation. They can be either
physical activities like jogging, football, swimming, skateboarding… or mental activities like reading, watching
movies, playing computers… and depend on each personality. For me I like reading. This hobby got started when I
was a little boy. I always had my grandfather read fairy tales and other stories to me. So as soon as I could, I learned
to read.

*Kinh nghiệm thi FCE (Part 4) - Speaking
I. Cấu trúc bài Speaking trong FCE
part 3. Bạn có 2 phút cho phần này.
II. Kinh nghiệm làm bài
- Ở Part 1, bạn có 1 phút để trả lời câu hỏi phản xạ. Hãy trả lời nhanh, nội dung không cần phải quan tâm vì thường
đó là những câu hỏi về bản thân bạn, do đó nội dung là hoàn toàn do bạn. Chỉ cần tập trung vào Grammar,
Pronunciation.
không so sánh.

Một câu "Good morning"
*What do you use the internet for ?
I use inrternet for many purposes like information, communication, entertainent but the most important object is

*Tell us about a TV programme you’ve seen recently?
I watched the TV program in my third year of my graduation program. In our local time, the program was

broadcasted at 9.00 pm every Thursday. The program showed the life and work of the famous scientists and the
sacrifices they made for humans and to make the world a better place. These stories were presented in a fascinating
way and were very professionally made. The spectators would have the impression that they were actually watching
the real scientists and their works.
