Warm-up

- Hold up one card so that the class can only see the back of it.

- Ask What’s this? for children to make guesses.
Lead-in
- Use Flashcards to elicit the vocabulary for this lesson. Hold truck, motorbike,
them up one at a time and ask What’s this? Model any words plane, helicopter
that children don’t know.

Presentation

1. Listen, point, and repeat.
- Say the words for children to listen and point to the
appropriate picture, and repeat.
- Call out a vocabulary word, e.g., truck. The children point to
the correct flashcard.
- Now point to the flashcard. The children say the word.
2. Hidden words:
- Post the Flash cards on the board, ask students to put their
face on their table, close their eyes; then hide a picture, and ask
students which pictures is hidden.

-Introduce sentence patterns:

-Ask students work in pairs to practice the structure.

Game: Ask-Answer
Ask students pick up some cards of toys, put their hands behind
