I. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
LANGUAGE CONTENT :
- To teach the students some vocabulary relating to the passage.
- To review the simple present.
-Help the sts play with words
LANGUAGE FUNCTION :
- To talk about the differences between Vietnamese and American schools.
EDUCATIONAL AIM :
- To make the students aware of the different cultures between Viet Nam and the
USA.
1. Language:
a. Vocabulary: school uniform a 20-minute break cafeteria
snack after-school activity
b. Structure: There is no school uniform.
There are no lessons on Saturday.
2. Skill: Integrated skills
3. Education factor:
- To respect American “school cultures”.
- To preserve and bring into play the nation’s “school cultures”.
II. TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PREPARATION:
1. Method: Communicative Approach.
2.Techniques: Repetition, Explanation, Demonstration, Pairwork, Groupwork,
Using Pictures, Network, T/F, Asking and Answering.
3. Materials needed: Textbook, chalks, tape, stereo.
4. Students’ preparation: Prepare vocabulary beforehand.
5. Previous exercises: exercises A 4 in the workbook (p. 23).

II. PRE-PRACTICE:

following steps and principles of
