A first aid - course vocabulary
I. Objective:
- Help Ss revise the learnt words and practice to remember the words deeply.
- Ss have more chance to practice in 4 skills.
II. Teaching aids:
- Teacher: pictures, real aids...
- Ss: notebooks, pictures..
III. Procedure:
1. Warm up (2):
- Matching : Teacher hangs the extra-board:
- Ss look at the board then work in groups to match:

2. Practice: (35)
Exercise 1: Underline and rewrite the misspelt words.

Exercise 2: Underline and rewrite the inappropriate words.
a. When you get burns you should ease the pain with warm water packs.

b. When a person gets shocked, dont give him (her) any soft drink or alcohol.

Exercise 3: List the words in the box under the appropriate headings. Then you can add more
words that you know to the headings.

- Asks Ss if they want to play game in the free time?

2. Give the form and usage(5’):
Encourage Ss to say the form of it ( Ss maybe work in pairs) to say the form.
- Ask some Ss to write the form on the board.
- Teacher corrects with Ss and give the true form .
- Ss write in their notebooks.
 Give the usage:
• To express the purpose why do something.

things (using adjectives).

III. Procedure:
1. Warm up:
- Ask Ss to translate some sentences into English.
a. Hôm nay thời tiết đẹp để đi chơi. Its very nice to go out.
b. Bài tập này dễ hiểu. This exercise is easy to understand.
c. Sàn nhà đã bẩn phải lau. The floor is dirty to clean.
d. Tôi rất vui khi bạn đến chơi. Im happy that you came to visit.
- Asks Ss to work in pairs to translate into English.
- Calls some Ss to write on the board.
- The others check and give the comments.
Teacher corrects and gives comments.
2. Asks Ss to give the rule of these sentences:
- Ss work in groups of 4-5 to discuss and give the rule of these sentences.
