communal house yard about one kilometer away from a river. There were three competitions:
water-fetching, fire-making and rice-cooking. The festival took one day. In the water fetching
contest one person from each team had to run to the river to get the bottle of water. In the firemaking contest two team menbers tried to rub pieces of bamboo together to make fire. Six people
in each team took part in the rice-cooking contest. After the three contests, all the point were added
and Thon Trieu group won the grand prize. The festival was wonderful.
