LỜI NÓI ĐẦU
“Các dạng bài tập đọc hiểu tiếng A nh” được biên soạn
nhằm phục vụ đối tượng là học sinh phổ thông, học viên đang
học Tiếng Anh để luyện thi vào các trường cao đẳng, đại học
. Tài liệu tham khảo này giúp các bạn luyện khả năng đọc
hiểu qua nhiều dạng bài tập đọc hiểu khác nhau. Tài liệu
đồng thời cũng là n^uồn tham khảo phong phú cho các giáo
viên tiếng Anh trong quá trình giảng daỵ và kiểm tra môn
tiếng Anh.

Cuốn sách này dược phân chia làm 6 phần, mỗi phần là
một dạng bài tập đọc hiêu được biên soạn theo mức độ khó
tăng dần và có phần đáp án kèm theo để bạn đọc có thậ đối
chiếu tham khảo:

Use the context to help you determine the meaning o f each

There are some very different opinions about the outcome

In my opinion, the final decision was correct. The

Exercise 12: Somewhere in each selection you will fin d a
pair o f words in parenthesis. These words will be antonyms,
or opposites. Underline the word that makes sense in the
context Use a dictionary if y o u ’re not sure o f the meanings
o f both antonyms.
1. Mr. Surfer was a very good teacher. Everyone agreed that
kids learned a lot when they spent a year in his fifth grade
class. Some kids did wish that he would be a little
(lenient, strict) about the rules. If anyone so much as
whispered during study time or happened to forget a
homework assignment, he or she was in big trouble.
2. Jennifer was very (gullible, skeptical). We found it all too
easy to convince her that a mummy was roaming around
