Thinking skill and problem solving is a skill in which individuals actively review the problem
that other people or people have accepted. Critical thinking is built on individual thoughts, views
and beliefs, plus the credible evidence that individuals acquire, ultimately drawing new
conclusions: Accepting or refuting these What others have said is "obvious".
For example: Many people say that "getting married and getting married with the same age will
be difficult for long-term physical and mental harmony, leading to unhappiness. Should get
married less than 5 - 10 years old.
You suspect this conclusion. You find the evidence, the reason to check the assertion on. Finally
you conclude that the above statement is not accurate with the evidence, arguments, arguments
are appropriate.

I. PROBLEM SOLVING TOOLS
Brainsorming:
Brainstorming

was

first

mentioned

by

Alex

Osborn

in

1941.

Brainstorming is a session technique that consists of a group of people seeking solutions to a
specific problem by collecting all the ideas of that group that arise at the same time according to
a certain principle. It also has advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: Fostering cooperation, understanding, and mutual support among members,
thereby creating new solutions to difficult problems. The skills and knowledge of the
group are beneficial to the individual. At the same time, we also help each other improve
upon their participation. The biggest benefit is to take advantage of all the resources of
the group.

Disavantages: It is easy to cause backwardness if the problem is not clear. Choosing the
best ideas will be very time consuming. If the team leader is not strong enough, it will be
very easy for some of the members to be active, but some will not.

Benchmarking
The term benchmarking refers to a reference standard that other audiences can compare.
Benchmarking is not a new idea, but it has become one of the key management tools of Total
Quality Management (TQM). Benchmarking, promising to bring valuable information for
quality improvement process in particular and the whole process of organization management.
The core of Benchmarking does not have to focus on the processes that competitors use in their
field of expertise, but rather identify the opportunities for continuous improvement in the most
economical and efficient way.
Benchmarking is the process of identifying what other organizations are doing better and doing
what they do to be as good as they are, or it is "a process of research, systematically searching
for best practices, pioneering ideas, best-of-breed production processes that lead to superior
results, "is a continuous process of cycling through the PDCA cycle. The planning phase focuses

on decision-making functions, the process for research, and the method of use. The focus phase
is on self-study to determine the characteristics of the selected processes. The test phase is a
comparison of the company's situation with the research results from the company's data for
benchmarking. This is called differential analysis. These differences can be either positive or
negative. The project start-up phase reduces the "negative" gap or maintains the "positive".

Flow charts
Flow charts are easy to understand because it shows how each step in the process fits together. It
shows how the process works and clearly shows concrete actions to accomplish the task. What's
more, each step in the flowchart helps you understand the workflow and knows what steps need
to be taken.
Thus, a flowchart can be used to:
· Identify and analyze processes.

· Develop a step-by-step process for analyzing, discussing, or exchanging information.
Identify, standardize or look for the steps needed to improve the process.
Also, because of the way information is transmitted step by step, you can focus more on the
stages that you undertake, and do not feel tangled by the overall process.

A Prioritisation Matrix:
It’s one of the effective time management methods commonly used by successful people. This
method is referred to by Stephen Covey in his book, First Things First, which is the method used
by President Eisenhower. Time management matrices divide the work into four groups based on
the critical and critical nature of the work. These are also two factors that we often have to deal
with when deciding what to do. And most of us are often hit by the "urgent" factor and let
ourselves be caught up in the constant turbulence of the rush. We think we did it right, but that's
not true.
