To really understand a culture, you must speak the language. There is a trend to learn English all
over the world now. It is true that english has become the international language of business ,
aviation and communication. Most leading countries in the world speak English .If we know
English,we can communicate and read books in English.We can learn and understand more
about the modern technology and science from these advanced countries.
But how to learn English well? My teacher advises me I should use English as often as I can.
That means I should speak English with my friends regurlaly, learn by heart the new words,
write english words as much as possible, watch TV programs ,listen to English tapes or English
programs on the radio, read short stories or newspaper in English, do more grammar exercises ,
use a ditionary to look up new words, ect…

language. Chinese is the only language with more speakers than English.This is because of
the huge population of Chinese .It is true that English is the most widespread language on the
