The pie chart describes the amount of training time
per year for different purposes while the bar chart
shows the office workers’ attitude to training.
In general, although different purposes indicate
various amounts of training time, most people
including managers and secretaries hold a positive
attitude towards training.
To specify, interpersonal skills occupy 30 hours,
followed by health and safety with 15 hours.
However, despite being five hours lower than
health and safety, technical purpose doubles career
development.
In the bar chart, around 70% of managers think
that training is important for job and a good excuse
for a change whereas only about 10% claim that it
is a waste of time. Similarly, secretary group
follows the same picture, but its percentage in each
factor is mostly lower than that in manager group.
A striking point is that only in “ important for job”
does secretary group surpass that of manager
group.

The graphs indicate the amount of consumption in
different types of albums.
In general, although the percentage of consumption
varies according to album, those aged from 25-34
are the biggest spenders.
To specify, Pop Music is the most favorite kind of
music in those aged from 25-34 with around 22%,
followed by male and those aged 35-44 with

approximately 20%. The least consumers are,
however, found in female and oldest group.
Similarly, Rock Music shows the same picture as
Pop Music, but its percentage of consumption is a
bit higher than that of the latter.
= Classical music is, by comparison, the most
prevalent choice of the oldest people and those
aged from 25-34 with above 15%. By contrast,
people aged from 16-24 and 35-44 spend the
lowest amount of money on it with less than 5%
= Classical music is, by comparison, the most
prevalent choice of the oldest people and those
aged from 25-34 with above 15% whereas the
opposite is true of people aged from 16-24 and 3544 with less than 5%.

= Interestingly, in all kinds of music, male group
surpasses female group in the percentage of
consumption.
= Interestingly, only in classical music is the
biggest contrast seen among different age groups
and sexes.

The diagram describes the process of removing salt
from seawater to create drinkable water.
In general, this process experiences a series of steps
with the elimination of salt and impurities.
To specify, in the first step, an amount of water is
taken from the sea and carried to a pre-treatment
filter. Here, after being treated, part of salt and sea
water is disposed out of the system while water is
kept to be continuously purified.
Subsequently, a membrane is used to retain salt and
impurities which are later eliminated from the
system, but/whereas water goes to another device to
be treated. Then, people apply some chemicals such
as lime, clouride, fluoride to post-treat water before
it is brought to storage and finally to a water supply
system ready for use. Interestingly, only by dint of
the aid of the membrane is water carefully treated.
This way of producing normal water is seen as
effective in areas that are full of sea water, but are
in need of fresh one.

The diagrams describe the life-cycle of
silkworm and the process of creating silk cloth.
In general, the natural cycle experiences a
series of steps with the support of mulberry
leaves while the second process undergoes

several stages with the aid of chemicals. To
specify, first, eggs which are given birth by
moths develop into silkworm larva(e) after ten
days. Then, eating mulberry leaves, these larva
grow into those with silk-thread in four to six
weeks before they become cocoons within 3-8
days.

Brain-drain remains controversial. Some people
think that this trend has a positive effect on the
personal life of skilled-labor while others claim
that it can endanger the economy of developing
countries. My essay will explain causes and
effects of this trend.
1.Cause and effect of divorce
Divorce has recently become more prevalent.
Some people believe that this trend has a good
effect on people’s freedom while others claim
that it can put children’s future in danger. My
essay will discuss causes and effects of this
situation.
There are several reasons for brain-drain. The
first cause of this trend is political instability in
developing countries. For example, no sooner
had the first and second world wars happened in
Europe than a great number of scientists and
skilled people moved to other nations to live and
work, such as the US.
There are several causes of divorce. The first
cause is lifestyle conflict between wives and
husbands. Hardly can a free woman find it easy
to follow the order of others while her husband is

extremely bossy, followed by their continuous
arguments and then divorce. Besides, physical
distance is another culprit. When a husband is
supposed to work overseas and is far from family
too often, his wife feels lonely and hardly suffers
this situation for a long time. As a result of this,
they file for divorce.
