Marie Curie was born in Poland in 1867 .Her mother died early and her father tried hard to
bring up the four chidren .She learned to read and write at the age of four .
At school ,she was very good at natural sciences . When she was 16 ,she left school and

went to France to study in France ,after lectures ,she spent hours in the university library and
lab . She worked very hard and became a famous chemist and physicist .
In 1903 ,she with her husband ,Peire Curie won the Nobel prize for physics eight years
later , she received the Nobel prize for chemisty .She died in 1934, at the age of 67 .

The weekend picnic I enjoyed most was just a few weeks ago .My class decided to pay a
visit to the Botanical Garden .It was a nice Sunday .We met at the school gate on time and
traveled to the Botanical Garden by bus .Iit was a long way to our destination and we felt
tired all the way .The Botanical Garden is a very beautiful place .we made a short tour
round the garden and took some pictures of the whole class .
