I. Objectives: After the lesson students will be able to:
Use learned rules to advise their friends to do something with him/ her and the
techniques to give their opinions with agreement.
II. Language content:
Vocabulary: scholarship, abroad, persuades, dormitory, campus, reputation, native
speaker .
Grammar: I think ., what do you think , I agree/ disagree ./, why dont we .., if
we go ., we can ., we should ., Lets ..

V. Procedures:
1. Warm up (7 minutes)

- Ask Ss to use the structure of saying
suggestions with the given phrases about the
activities next weekends.
+ go fishing
+ visit our grandparents in the countryside.


+ listen some English songs.
+ cook dinner by ourselves.
+ help mother tidy the house.
+ plant some trees in the garden.

- In this lesson, we are going to learn how to
- Look at the poster and make suggestions.
+ Lets go fishing.
+ Why dont we visit our grandparents in the
countryside?
+ What about listening some English songs?
+ Shall we cook dinner by ourselves?
+ I think we should help mother tidy the

- Have Ss read the information about Thu,
Tam and Kim and the examples in Ss books.

+ abroad (adv): ở nớc ngoài
+ persuade :thuyết phục
+ dormitory (n): kí túc xá
+ campus (n): khuôn viên
+ reputation(n) :danh tiếng
+ native speaker: ngời nói tiếng bản địa.
- Repeat in chorus.

- Give Vietnamese meaning.

- Listen to the teacher.

3. While speaking (18 minutes)
- Ask Ss to work in groups of three to give
ideas to persuade the others about going to
learn English abroad.
- Give some structures to help them on
agreeing or disagreeing naturally :
- Go around the class and check.
- Call some groups to practice in front of the
class.
- Correct the mistakes.
- Work in groups of 3, read the ads and
persuade the partner to attend to the school
he/ she likes after the T and 2 good students
model.
