S: A simple sentence is one
independent clause.

more independent clauses joined
together.


T: OK. Each clause is of equal
importance and could stand alone.
They can be joined with


conjunctions and, but , or, so, yet
or conjunctive adverbs however,
nevertheless, moreover, therefore,
otherwise.
