I. AIMS

1. Knowledge

- By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to ask and answer questions about days of
the week.

- Sentence patterns: What day is it today? It is Monday

- Vocabulary: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
2. Skills: Listening- reading- speaking- writing.

3. Attitude: Educate Sts to love their lesson and work hard

* Activity 2: Look and write(11’)
a. Pre- writing

- Set the scene: What’s this? ...

- Ask Ps to look at the Activity 5 p19. Tell Ps that
they are going to look at the table and complete the
sentences with the names of the days.

- Have them read the tables and sentences then
check their understanding.

b. While- writing

- Ask Ps to read the question and do the task
independently.

- Get them to compare their answers in pairs before
checking as a class. If there is enough time , have
the class read the completed text aloud.

- Give feedback.
c. Post writing

* Write it up (CNTT)

- T asks Ss to write about your last holiday in short
paragraph

- T gives Ss 2 minutes to do the task.
- Ss read your writing

- T corrects and lets Ss to copy down on their
notebook

- Set the scene: Who are they? What are they
talking?
