2. Warm up (5’)

- Have Ps sing the song “This is the way I clean my house”.

- Ask some Ps to show their drawing and tell about their house.

- Give Ps a few seconds to read the text in

- Get Ps to listen and write. Ask two Ps to do the

task on the board.

- Have Ps swap and check their answer.

- Ask them to give the answer.

- Check and correct with the class.

sentences.

- Tell Ps that they are going to say the Is there a
garden/ chant.

Read the chant and check comprehension.

- Play the recording a few times for Ps to listen.

times.

- Show Ps how to chant and clap the rhythm.

- Play the chant a few times for Ps to do choral

and individual repetition.

- Get Ps sit face to face and practice the chant.

- Go around to offer help.

- Call on two groups to the front of the class to

chant: one chants the questions and the other
chants the answer. The whole class claps along
the rhythm.

- If there is not enough time, ask Ps to do the

project as homework.

- Call a few Ps to the front of the class to
show and describe their pictures.

- Put the sentence on the board. Have Ps
repeat.

- Have a pair act out the dialogue as an
example.

- Get Ps to work in pairs.

- Call on some pairs to act out the dialogue in
front of the class.

- Ask others to make the comments.

- Language note: Where’s is the contracted
form of Where is, and it is used in speaking.
