<b>I. Objective: </b>
<b>1. Language focus:</b>
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to consolidate the sound of the
letter Nn, Oo, Pp and Qq and the coresponding words.
<b>2. Skill: </b>
- Listening, speaking, reading, writing.
<b>3. Attitude:</b>
- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary.
<b>II. Teaching aids: </b>
- Book, CD, phonics cards.
<b>III. Method:</b>
- Model – Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work.

<i><b>Activity: Memory Game </b></i>
- Put up the phonics cards on the board.
- Ask the students to memorise the order in which the items appear.
- Remove the phonics cards.
- Ask a student to name the items in the correct order.
- Do the same procedure with changing the order of the phonics cards.

- T explain the activity
- T hangs the letter N,O, P, Q on the board and ask
the students to say the letters N, O, P, Q.
- T ask Ss to say the letter and the sound of Nn, Oo,
Pp, Qq in chorous.
- T Go around the classroom to provide any
necessary help, ask individual students to say out the
letter and the sound.
<i><b>Activity: Run and Touch </b><b>(10’)</b></i>
- T divides the class into two teams, A and B, make 2
lines
- Put up the phonics cards (from part 3) on the board.
- Say the word. Two students, one from each team,
race to touch the cards.
- The first student to touch the card wins a point for
his/her team.
- The team with more points wins the game.
<i><b>Activity 2. Look at the picture, read the word </b><b>(10’)</b></i>
- T explain the activity.
- T ask the students toloook at the picture and read
the items.
- Ss name the items.
- T ask them to tick the correct letter that
corresponds to each picture.
- T go around the classroom to provide any
necessary help, ask individual students to say out the
sound or the item.

- Learn and practise reading skills.
<b>2. Skill: </b>
- Listening, speaking, reading, writing.
<b>3. Attitude:</b>
- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary.
<b>II. Teaching aids: </b>
- Book, CD, phonics cards.
<b>III. Method:</b>
- Model – Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work.
- Some techniques can be used: music chairs
