Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Distinguish the clusters / str /, / skr /, / skw /. - Pronounce the words and the sentences containing these clusters correctly. - Remember the use of the relative pronouns, relative clauses and the omission of the relative pronouns when they functions as objects of the ordinary verbs. 2. Teaching aids: - blackboard, chalk, handouts - textbook, lesson plan B. Procedures Time Teacher’s activities Student’s activities 1 I. Grammar a. Revision of relative clauses and omission of relative pronouns. * Presentation. - T writes two pairs of examples about the relative clauses on the board and asks sts to comment on them. Eg: - We have a lot of work which we have to do today. - We have a lot of work we have to do today. - The man who I met at Lan’s party is very friendly. - The man I met at Lan’s party is very friendly. - T elicits the comments from sts and makes clear that: Chóng ta chØ ®­îc phÐp lược bỏ ĐTQH khi nó giữ chức năng làm tân ngữ cho động từ trong mệnh đề quan hệ xác định.
