Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Develop such reading micro-skills as scanning for specific ideas, and identifying meaning in context. - Use the information they have read to talk about hobby. 2. Organization - T checks the number of students and asks Ss to make some class arrangement. II. Checking the old lesson - T calls one student to talk about what he/she learnt in the previous lesson. - T gives comment and marks. III. New lesson 1. Warm- up - T shows some pictures and gets sts to work in group and write down what people in the pictures are doing. - T asks the question: When do people do these kinds of work? Do they help to make4 more money? What is your way of spending your free time? ………………….. - T leads sts to the new lesson from that. 2. Before you read - T gets sts to work in pairs and try to make sense of the picture on. 1 min. - The monitor reports the number of students in his/her class to the teacher.. 4 mins - talk about what he/she learnt in the previous lesson. - listen to the T 5 mins - The groups write the words or phrases.
