Lesson 1: Getting started & listen and read
I Aims:
-By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to give the requesting to help the
others, promosing and responding the requesting.
-To develop listening and reading skills.
-To help Ss to be able to do in some situations which require first- aid.
II. Language content:
- Using “ will”
- Future simple
III. Teaching method:
-Pairs work, groups work, intensive reading and communicative method.

Teacher’s activities
1. Getting started.(7’)
T introduces about using first-aid to Ss
T asks Ss to look at the pictures to require
Ss how to do in these situations.
T comments and goes on new lesson.

2. Listen and read.(33’)
2.1 Presentation
T sets the scene to Ss.


T supplies vocabulary on the board to Ss
Students’ activities
Ss:
- Listen to T’s introduction
- Look at the pictures how to do in these
situations.
+ a boy has a bad cut on his leg.
+ a girl has a burn on her arm.
+ a girl has a nose bleed.
+ a boy has a bee sting.
- Work in pairs:

+ I will use cold water to ease the pain.
