Unit 10: Recycling
( Lesson 1: listen & read )
I. OBJECTIVES:
A. Aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- know and talk about things they can reuse, reduce and recycle.
- know how to protect the environment.
- Vocabulary

II. PREPARATION:
A: Teacher: textbook, lesson plan, poster, tape
B. Students: textbook, vocabulary, homework
III. PROCEDURE:
A. Warm-up: Revision: Chatting ( Getting Started )(5')
T: asks the question: What should we do to reduce the amount of garbage we
produce?
Ss: work in pairs to answer; may use the expressions in Getting started to answer
Ex: We should use cloth bags instead of plastic bags.

IV.While - activity:
1. Listen and check:(4')
- get feedback by playing the tape again
with opened books and check the
predictions.(T can let Ss read the dialogue
to check the predictions)
2.Reading:
a.Comprehension questions(P.90)(10')
