- Explain the use of “ indirect speech”:
+ Câu gián tiếp là tờng thuật lại lời nói của
một ngời đến một ngời khác đã có sự thay
đổi cho phù hợp.


+ Các bớc chuyển đổi câu trực tiếp sang câu
gián tiếp:+ Bỏ dấu phẩy hoặc hai chấm sau
động từ said, bỏ ngoặc kép.


+ Đổi ngôi của đại từ (I-he).
+ Hạ động từ xuống một thì.
Ex: Minh said:” I am fine”.
Minh said that he was fine.


Note: nếu dùng động từ khuyết thiếu
“should” thì vẫn giữ nguyên.


Miss Jackson said “Tim should work harder
on his Spanish pronunciation”.


- Give some sentences and ask Ss to change
into the reported speech.
