I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- identify pronounce three sounds of the letters -ir. -ur, -er
- listen correctly two sounds of the letters -ir. -ur, -er
- express their interests to English through the chant.
II. Teaching aids :
1. Teacher’s: book, pictures, CD and computer.
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
III. Procedure:
A.Warm up: Slap the board
Step 1

- Introduce how to play the game.

Step 2
- Play in 2 groups.
*** Observation and giving feedback (T and Ss): speed, accuracy.
- Repeat the words.
B. New lesson
Act. 1. Listen and repeat

- Look at the words with sound of the letters -ir. -ur, -er

- Listen to the CD and repeat.

activities.

2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
III. Procedure:
A. Warm up:
- chant “What do you do on…..?” and clap their hands.

** T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation.
