S + V(present tenses)+ so that + S + will / can / may (not ) + V ( bare - inf ) in order that adverbial clause of purpose  Past purpose : ● The man hurried in order that he wouldn’t miss the bus. S + V( past tenses ) + so that + S + would / could / might (not ) + V(bare- inf ) in order that adverbial clause of purpose.
