1. The going to future

Going to future expresses a conclusion regarding the
immediate future or an action in the near future that
has already been planned or prepared.
Future with Going to Structure:
*)Positive:
Subject + to be + going to + verb
I am going to attend the meeting.
He, She is going to attend the meeting.

Subject + to be + not + going to + verb
I'm not going to visit Rome next year.
He, She isn't going to visit Rome next year.
*)Questions
(Question word) + to be + subject + going to + verb
Where am I going to stay?
Where is she, he going to stay?

*Use of going to Future
an action in the near future that has already been planned or
prepared
example: I am going to study harder next year.
a conclusion regarding the immediate future
example: The sky is absolutely dark. It is going to rain.

Use of will Future
*a spontaneous decision
example: Wait, I will help you.
*an opinion, hope, uncertainty or assumption regarding
the future
example: He will probably come back tomorrow.

example: I will not watch TV tonight.
*an action in the future that cannot be influenced

example: It will rain tomorrow.
*conditional clauses type I
example: If I arrive late, I will call you.

3. The present simple
The simple present expresses an action in the present
taking place once, never, always or several times. It is
also used for actions that take place one after another and
for actions that are set by a timetable or schedule. The
simple present also expresses facts in the present.
Note: We don't add -s after negative and question
sentences.

USEs of Present Simple
1. Present Simple expresses truths, habits, repeated actions,
unchanging situations, emotions, and wishes.
The sun rises in the east. (a truth)
I wake up at seven o'clock. (a habit)
2. To express fixed arrangements, schedules or timetables:
His mother arrives tomorrow.

after, when, before, as soon as, until:
I will meet you when you come on Sunday.
She'll see you before she leaves.
4. To give instructions or directions:
You walk for two hundred metres, then you turn left.
