Abstract
The major results of the thesis
The thesis has analyzed the general theoretical bases on tourism, state management in tourism
business activities; analyzed and assessed the tourism development potential in Kon Plong district; the
situation of state management in the field of tourism business in Kon Plong district; pointed out the
achieved results, the limitations and the main cause of state management in the field of tourism in the
district; analyzed characteristics affecting state management in Kon Plong district. The content of state
management in the field of tourism business in Kon Plong district includes 05 main contents, namely:
Building and promulgating tourism development strategies and plans; Formulating and promulgating
policies and regulations in tourism business management; Implementing plannings, plans and policies
and regulations in tourism activities; Implementing planning, plans and policies, regulations in tourism
activities and organizating structure of state management in tourism business. On that basis, the thesis
has proposed solutions to complete the state management in tourism business in Kon Plong district in
the future, contributing to promoting the economic development and bringing the tourism industry to a
district's dynamic economic sector.
State the new contributions of the thesis, the applicability in practice
In terms of science: Researching state management in tourism business in Kon Plong district,

Kon Tum province will system some basic theories of state management in the field of tourism; draw
out appropriate and inappropriate contents, shortcomings and limitations of the state management
situation in tourism business activities in Kon Plong district; thereby, having a scientific basis to select
the appropriate solution groups to contribute to promoting the development of the tourism industry of
Kon Plong district.
In terms of practice: This is a highly practical topic, aiming to provide solutions to improve
the state management in tourism business in Kon Plong district. The project contributes as a basis to
support local state management agencies in implementing appropriate solutions to develop tourism
activities in the district.
Subsequent research of the thesis
In order to increase the reliability and feasibility of the state management in tourism business
in Kon Plong district, the next study will examine all tourism managers and tourism businesses and
households in Kon Plong district.
