PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities 1. Warm-up: (7’)  How do you learn English? Check (√) things you do from the list. Add more things you do or want to do. Then work with a partner and compare your list. 1. Do the homework. 2. Speak English with friends 3. Do more grammar exercises in grammar books. 4. Read short stories or newspapers in English. 5. Write English as much as possible. 6. Use a dictionary for reading 7. Learn by heart all the new words and texts. 8. .Practice listening to English tapes or English programs on the radio. 9. Watch English TV programs. 10. Learn to sing English songs 2. Presentation: (10’) @ Activity 1:  Introduce some vocabulary I. Vocabulary 1. oral examination > < written examination 2. examiner > < candidate 3. college(n) @ Activity 2:  Set the scene: LAN is talking to Paola about the oral examination that she has taken.  Have Ss guess questions which the examiner asked LAN. Students’ activities  Work in group.  Guess the meaning  Practice.  Listen the teacher’s introduction  Guess the questions.
