Ask Ss to open their book and look at the picture.(P.48) Elicit the picture. Tell Ss that they are going to listen to the recording and repeat the dialogue between Nam and Mai. Play the recording through or read the dialogue aloud for pupils to listen as they follow the dialogue. Play the recording again,pausing after each line for Ss to repeat. Repeat in choral,group and individual Check to make sure Ss can repeat and understand the dialogue. Give the new model: -Let’s go to the _________ - Great idea! Sorry. I’m busy.. Open the book. Select some pairs to demonstrate the task in front of the class. Post-stages. Homework. *Talk Ask Ss to open their book at P.49. Ask Ss to look at pictures a,b,c,d and help them to identify the public places in the picture Tell them that they are going to practice making a suggestion and giving a response ,using new model have just learnt. Ask Ss to look at picture a as an example and say the sentence “ – Let’s go to the post office - Sorry.I’m busy. “ Tell Ss to work in pairs to discuss how to do the task. Ask them to work in pairs, one makes the suggestion and the other gives the respnse,using the sentence patterns and the picture cues. Ask Ss to role play their friends’ personal characteristics. Select some pairs to demonstrate the task in front of the class. Help when necessary. *Listen and tick Ask Ss to look at Pictures at P.49 Tell them that they are going to hear the recording and tick the correct pictures according to the information they hear. Play the recording through for Ss to listen. Replay for them to listen and tick the correct answers Replay once more for them to check their answer. Let Ss to exchange their answers then report to the class Read out the correct answers to the class. Do exercise in work book. Read Listen. Work in pair. Ask Ss to look at the chant .Listen to the teacher’s model and repeat the focused sounds. Play the recording for Ss to listen to and repeat the chant.Repeat the step when necessary. Ask Ss to identify the public places Tell them that they are going to listen to 4 dialogues and number the correct pictures. Play the recording through for Ss to listen Play the recording again for Ss to do the task Play the recording once more for Ss to check their answers. Get Ss to compare their answers with their partners. Discuss their answers. Help when necessary. Let Ss report in front of the class. *Read and complete. Ask Ss to open the book at P.51 Elicit the picture and the text and say the task. Ask Ss to look at the picture and tell them that they are going to read the text about Linda and Peter who are going shopping and complete the sentences,using the words provided in the shopping list. Let Ss read the text and do the task individually. Get Ss to work in pairs to discuss the answers Call on some Ss to report their answers to the class.
