By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: +Speaking frequently and express themselves about their favorite music Ss have already known some vocabulary items related to the topic. +Students may have difficulty expressing their ideas because of limited structures and vocabulary. +Some students don’t want to speak. +It is likely to lack time because of many activities during the lesson. 6. Teaching aids: 7. Procedure Stage/ time Warm up 10. Technique Aim Aim: motivate students and lead students to the topic and writing Technique for giving instructions: step by step. Board, chalk, textbook, handouts.. Teacher’s activities. Students’ activities. Game: whisper. (based on Task 1) -get attention of students How are you today? Do you like to play a fun game? That is whisper. Do you know this game? It likes a game in “tam sao that ban” program -divide class into 6 groups. Move along the class to make groups. A,B, C,D, E, F -check members of groups Who is group A? Hands up. Good. Who is group B? Ok. Who is group C? Hands up. And group D? Raise your hand… check to F The first students in a row will receive a piece of paper. No one else in group will be allowed to look at it. -deliver piece of paper to the first students in a row. First, Students who received a piece of paper will read the paper. then You transfer those sentences to your friend next you by whisper at their ears. Say smoothly so that others can’t hear. I usually listen to songs of them on internet. I love Pay Phone TASK 2 15-20 minutes. Aim: Help students with some expression of their favorite music. Practice speaking skill. Work in group effectively. Students express themselves and saying what they want to say. Technique: Communicative drill: survey. -ask students to look at task 2. We’ll do this task in group of 4, 2 tables in a group. Each student questions your friends to fill the information in the table. First, how will we ask our friends about the items in the table?
