Impact on the environment

By our operational activities also effects on the environment develop. By an
ecologically oriented choice of materials as well as optimal resources
application in combinations with a environmental-careful way of production we
want to achieve a preventive environmental protection.

We evaluate our impact on the environment recurring in a standardized procedure
and determine on basis of this evaluation their substantial value in the environmental
program.
As far as technically convertible, our impact on the environment is subject to a
constant measurement and analysis as well as an appropriate documentation.


Energy
Our power demand is covered by electricity, gas and Diesel.

The electrical power requirement concentrates particularly on the production
department. Gas is used for the heating and for the production of the bonding agents.
Diesel is used mainly for the internal vehicle park. Our energy consumption is
registered systematically and consumption emphasis is revealed.

Water/waste water

Our operational water management deals with itself on the one hand with the water
consumption, on the other hand with the waste water and the waste water treatment.
We obtain our industrial water from an internal well and our sanitary water from the
public network.
The waste water of the Tiger factory is subject to a regular check of the condition by
internal and external examinations as well as by official monitoring. The waste water
treatment unit is connected with the relevant production departments.

Waste

Where a waste avoidance is not realizable, a recycling of the materials is aimed at.
The special refuse consists mainly of color dredging and resources containing oil,
which accumulate by cleaning and maintenance. If other waste attacks, then this is
disposed conforming the law.


Exhaust air
The exhausted air within the area of production is subject to a regular check and
indicates likewise values under the admissible limit values. The occurring dust
missions in the powder production halls are prevented by appropriate measures.
Furthermore this problem finds consideration within the development system
development.


Noise
The noise of our systems is reduced basically to a justifiable minimum. For
prevention against damages by operation noise most modern personal protection
equipment is to order for the coworkers. The freely intrusion of noise is relatively
small and under the value admissible for the location. In the traffic sector noise

predominantly results from the arriving and departures of trucks. When purchasing
new trucks, low noise emission values are, among other things, considered.
