Measures in the case of fire

In case of fire there are following safety mechanisms and measures.

1. Fire precaution

Fire alarm system
Acoustic warning devices
Automatic alarm forwarding to the fire-brigade
Controlled gate closing magnets
Fire extinguisher
Fire sprinkler
Smoke exhaust
Compartment formation

Accordingly equipped EX zones
Prohibition of smoking on company premises
Training courses for the coworkers for correct behavior in the case of fire and the use
of fire extinguishers

2. Measures:

Behavior of the coworkers
Notice of “behavior in the case of fire and environmental emergency”

Alerting
• The factory area is equipped to a large extent with automatic fire alarms, thus an
early recognition ensured.
• The fire alarm system passes on the alarm directly to the fire-brigade, additionally
a personal call is installed, which informs company members at the same time
about the alarm.

Protection of individuals in case of fire
• In the case of a fire all persons are informed on the factory area by a siren about
the emergency. They have to leave the buildings immediately. For this case there
are two central person collecting points outside.
• There are first-aid trained workers in each department available in case anybody
is hurt.

First step measures
In all rooms there are fire extinguishers in the appropriate places.

Environmental protection
For resulting fire fighting water catchments basins are available.
