Objectives: To develop students’ reading skill and some new functions of language. 1. Knowledge: - Vocabulary: emigrate, transmit, conduct, device, demonstrate, deaf – mute - Grammar: review past simple to talk about past action. 2. Skill: develop reading comprehension skills. 3. Attitude: Ss have positive attitude towards the lesson. B. Teaching aids: a. Teacher: Text book, pictures, lesson plan. b. Students: Text books, notebooks … C. Methods: Rub out and remember D. Contents: I. Organization. (1’) 8C2:................................ II. Revision: (5’) *Telephone transmitting: -Device Ss into 2 teams. -Choose 6 Ss from each team. -Ss stand in 2 lines. The T shows the first S(in each line) a tel.number. -He/she whispers to tel number to the next person in his/her line. -The second S whispers to the third....until the last one. -The last S shouts out the number, If it is the same as the number T shows, that team wins the match.
