GRAMMAR PRACTICE
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to revise the main knowledge
from unit 9 to unit 11.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (8’)
- Ask Ss to answer the questions.
1. Do you like vegetables?
2. What do you like?
- Introduce the new lesson: “Now we are
going to revise some grammar of unit 9, 10
and 11”.
2/ Exercises: (20’)
 Exercise 1:
- Revise the simple present tense.
I. The simple present tense
+ Use: Used to express a truth or a habit.
+ Form:
S +V s(es)
S + Do/Does + not + V-bare infintive
Do/Does + S + V-bare infinitive?
- Have Ss do task 1 in pair.
- Call some Ss correct the answers on the
board.



STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES
- Answer the questions.

- Listen.

- Remind and copy.

 Exercise 2:
- Remember and take note.
- Remind the use of a/an,some,any.
II. a/an, some, any:
+ “a”, “an”: đi với danh từ đếm được số ít.
+ “some”, “any”: đi với danh từ khơng đếm
được số ít, và danh từ đếm được số nhiều.
- Ask Ss to work in pairs and do the exercise - Work in pair.
2 on page 122.
- Compare the answer.
- Ask Ss to compare their sentences.

 Exercise 3:
- Ask Ss to work in groups and use the
adjectives to fill in the blanks in the exercise
3 on page 122.

- Ask Ss to work in pairs and use Whquestions to fill in the blanks in the exercise
4 on page 123.
- Call some Ss to go to the board and write
their sentences.

- Have Ss tell the form of present
progressive.
- Ask Ss to use present progressive tense to
change present simple tense.
- Call some students to go to the board and
write their sentences.

4/ Homework: (2’)
- Review vocabulary and grammar unit 9,
10 and 11.
- Prepare for test 3.

- Listen and do as directed.
