I.OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to review some old knowledge,
know about the subject and methods of learning. T also tells Ps how to prepare for the new
lesson and what are necessary in learning.

1/ Warm-up: (10’)

- Review some tenses Ss have learnt in grade 7,
especially the simple past tense.
- Ask Ss to talk each other and take notes.

- Get Ss to describe to play the game “guessing
people” in groups, go around the class to check
Ss’work.

- Give some expressions to greet and introduce some
