2.4. Methods
Before starting my work, I must attendance in a class which my
supervisor taught to learn how to launch a class , and oversee the abilities of
students, and how to make an effective lesson .
After that I had to practice my organization skill to help . Besides using
that skill, I had to use my knowledge to make questions about general
knowledge and English. Not only that, I had to use my volunteer experience to
make the lesson more vivid .
10

During the internship time, there were many classes which teachers were
absent, so that I had to enter that class to take care of students. Sometimes I
made an English test for them. Sometimes, I talked to them about how to learn
English well with the easiest ways or the life when studying in university.
After coming back from a class or a show, I usually discuss with my
supervisors what I have learnt and asked for help if I have any mistakes or
any futher requirments . They always gave me a lot of useful advice in both
teaching and social life.
For what made my intership successful was mainly about my own experiences
and knowledge , I solved the issues by my self first then if I asked the

supervisors .

PART III
TRAINING RESULTS AND EXPERIENCES
3.1 Results
After eight weeks of internship , I have gained a lot of practical
experiences about teaching terms

and building relationship

in

different

evironment .

11

First of all, internship course gave me a chance to use my English skills in
real situations. As a result, not only my English skills were improved but also
my Academic vocabulary are richer than before.
Second, when I worked as an English teacher , I had many chance to
meet and talk with other teachers who had such a great experience so that I can
learn about the teaching manners from them .
3.2 Experienced lessons
Critical and Analytical Thinking

To organize tasks and assignments, I need to analyze the problems and
assignments, and to formulate a good solution to the problem. I would have to
set contingency plan for the solution so I am well prepared for the unforeseeable
situations in class.

 Time Management
As overall teachers are always racing against tight timeline and packed
schedule, a proper time management will minimize facing overdue deadlines.
An effective time management allows me to do my assignment efficiently and
meet my schedules. Scheduling avoids time wastage and allows me to plan
ahead and teachers have time to impart their knowledge as much as they can
for students.
 Colleague Interactions
In working environment, teamwork is vital in contributing to a strong
organization. Teamwork is also essential in reaching the goals of the
organization as an entity. Thus, communicating and sharing are much needed in
12

the working environment. Therefore, I should repect each other in work, and
working together as a team, instead of working alone too much . This is because
working together as a team is easier in reaching our targets, rather than operating
individually.
I would like to once again appreciate everyone who has made my internship
successful .

CONCLUSION
After completeing my internship period at Special Forces Officers
School I have a lot of experience in life and work. Throughout my internship, I
could understand more about the job as a teacher and prepare myself to become

a responsible and innovative teacher in future or even a translator or interpreter.
Along my training period, I realize that observation is a main element to find out
the root cause of a problem. Not only for my project but also daily activities.
During my project, I cooperate with my supervisors to give new ideas for
lessons and attract students to the lecture. Moreover, the project indirectly helps
me to learn independently, discipline myself, be patient, self-trust, take initiative
and get the ability to solve problems.
Besides, my communication skills are

strengthened

as well when

communicating with others. During my training period, I have received criticism
and advice from some good teachers when mistakes were made. However, those
advice are useful guidance for me to change myself and avoid myself making
the same mistakes again.
Apart from that, I had also developed my teaching skills through various
lessons that I had done. Furthermore, this helps sharpen my skills in soft skills in
life. In short, the activities that I had learned during the internship are useful for
me in future to face challenges in a working environment.
13

Thanks for the precious helps from my supervisors , my teachers , and
my firends

who help me in this internship period , I promise I would never

foret this meaningful and useful time of my life .
