My name is Mandy, and I’m addicted to shopping, especially for clothes. The bad news is that
I don’t have much pocket money, so I can’t afford to buy many, except during the sales
season. That’s the reason why I love shopping at thrift stores. People can buy clothes and
accessories of high quality at a reasonable price there. There are some tips for thrift shopping.
First, weekends are the worst time to go thrift shopping. Most people work during the week
and only have time to go on the weekends. Therefore, thrift stores are always crowded and the
best items have already been picked out. If you can make it, the best days of the week for
thrift shopping should be Monday and Wednesday, when new items come out. Second,
remember to try on clothing in thrift stores before purchasing. Don’t trust the size on the tag,
because clothing sizing is unreliable. Trying on items will ensure that you really like the item
and prevent you from having to get back and make a return. While trying on clothes, you can
also easily inspect the clothing for any damage, such as holes, missing buttons or stains. Take
a close look at everything before you hand over those dollar bills.
