CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
AND

CONTEXT OF THE

INTERNSHIP REPORT
1. SELF-INTRODUCTION:
My name is Nguyen Thi Duy Anh, and I am currently a final-year English language student at
Ho Chi Minh City's Industrial University. I have changed a lot in the nearly four years that I
have been at the university. My major's subjects help me in developing my English skills. I
gain a great deal of new information from the subjects, my teachers, and my friends.

My major, English Language, is an interesting subject that has introduced me to many new
aspects that I was previously unaware of. This major also prepares me for a variety of soft
skills, such as public speaking, presentation, and handling communication problems.
I love teaching, working and sharing my knowledge with kids. Besides, I also want to try hard
in translating and interpreting.
2. THE SUPERVISOR AND GROUP MEMBERS
My supervisor for my graduate internship report is Ms. Pham Thi Thu. Although I have not
had the opportunity to study with her, it is not extremely difficult to work with her on the
internship report. She is a dedicated teacher who is always willing to assist us when we need
it. Whenever the members of the group met her, she gave them detailed instructions on how to
complete the internship report. .Besides, my group members are also very friendly. Though
the members of my group work for different internship firms, we always discuss with each
other how to come up with the best solution when faced with a difficult problem.

CHAPTER 3: TASK, PROJECTS
AND ACTIVITIES
1. DAILY TASK ACTIVITIES:
Due to the time of social distancing at the start of the internship, the center offered online
teaching.I worked four days a week. At 5:40 p.m., I had to prepare materials, assessments, and
check attendance for students. During the lesson, the teacher used a variety of games to
engage students in learning new vocabulary and sentence patterns in each lesson. I helped the
teacher with managing the pupils and reviewing the previous lesson to ensure that they
completed their homework at home before the session began. However, the teacher may use
warm-up games or exercises to recap the prior session before beginning the lesson. I was
responsible for checking students' past lessons and homework throughout. I also aided pupils
throughout the learning process when they encountered difficulties. After a period of social
distance, the center began to teach offline, and my work had changed slightly. I had to be at
the center at 6 p.m. every day to set up materials, tests, and prepare for the students' arrival at
6:50 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had students measure their body temperature

and gave them hand sanitizer before entering class. Then we were allocated to any class to
help the teacher with classroom management.
Each course includes a number of exams (typically one after four classes). I was in charge of
creating regular tests for the students, as well as providing answers and explanations in the
next lesson. The tests are used to assess the student's grasp and understanding of the lesson as
well as the efficacy of the instruction. At that time, I replaced the lead teacher to observe the
test.
The Titan Center also provided extra classes to pupils who had unsatisfactory results. Each
extra class generally consisted of one to four students and a teaching assistant. I'm in charge
of reinforcing the students' knowledge and focusing on the topics they don't comprehend. I
had to submit the number of students to the management every day to check the students'

attendance. I also had to make a report to the administrator at the end of the week to provide
feedback on the student's progress in the private classes.
2. PROJECT TASK AND ACTIVITIES:
Due to the social distancing period, the center was unable to participate in classroom activities
with students; instead, the Titan center planned a word guessing game with related words for
Christmas Eve to play. At the end of the lesson, everyone gave each other good wishes.
Titan's teachers also create attractive and appropriate backgrounds for the entire class to use
over the Christmas and Lunar New Year holidays to make the classroom seem cozier.

CHAPTER 4: REFLECTION

1. REFLECTION ON DEVELOPED WORKING AREA AND SKILLS

Titan is an extremely professional learning environment with dedicated, well-trained, and
highly specialized staff members and teachers. As a result, when exposed to this environment,
one's chances of finding and developing a career are excellent. To intern at Titan English
Center, I have to have a certain level of knowledge and skills. Fortunately, I had extensive
experience teaching English to children, which gave me an advantage in completing my
internship. After applying to this facility, I will be trained to adapt to the job more quickly and
precisely.
The facility's communication is almost completely conducted in English. As a result, as a
foreign language student, this is an opportunity to get more exposure to the language I'm
learning while also strengthening my English skills.
The working environment at The Titan Center changes on a regular basis to keep up with the
current. As a result, if I work here, I must always improve in a constructive way. It is critical
that I retain and develop my knowledge and talents throughout the internship. Moreover, I
must have a professional working attitude, be punctual, and have a forward-thinking approach
at work.
2. REFLECTION ON PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT DURING THE INTERNSHIP
As a teaching assistant at Titan English Center, I've learned a lot about myself. When I
worked as a teaching assistant in a TOEIC class, I did my best to manage the class, assisting
the teacher and providing support to numerous students. Instead of theoretical teaching in
school, I had the opportunity to use this expertise as an intern at Titan Center. As a result, I've
enhanced my classroom management skills. In addition, I must practice observing classroom

skills, exam design skills, and speaking abilities to help students comprehend easily in order
to fulfill the function of a teaching assistant so that I may respond to students' queries as
needed and ensure that they are always paying attention during the class.

Tieu luan

My English skills, which include listening, speaking, reading, and writing, have greatly
increased. In addition, I am more self-assured when giving a public speech and expressing my
viewpoint in front of pupils. Most significantly, I must have a responsible working mentality
as well as a polite approach toward students, staff, teachers, and even the students' parents, in
order to operate in a professional setting like Titan.Because knowledge isn't enough to make
someone a valuable employee. The importance of both knowledge and attitudes cannot be
overstated.

CHAPTER 5: CONCLUSION

1. INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
During my internship at Titan English Center, I was able to gain first-hand experience. To

adapt to the working environment and develop my ability to suit the needs of Titan Center, I
have altered myself. I spent a lot of time connecting with students and teaching them how to
learn languages. They are all vivacious, upbeat, and eager to learn whatever they can.
Whenever I saw them, they made me feel energized and eager. My instructors and the
teachers at the center also provided me with a great deal of assistance. Because of their
passion, I was able to complete my internship successfully. Working with the Titan staff and
teachers has been a huge pleasure. I can learn a lot from them and use it to enhance myself.
2. RECOMMENDATIONS OR SUGGESTIONS
Titan provided language student with a wonderful internship experience. It is an ideal place
for students in the Faculty of Foreign Languages to practice and gain experience in
preparation for a future career. To be able to complete the internship successfully, we must
properly prepare our talents and mentality. Titan is appropriate for anyone interested in
studying or working with the English language. Interning at Titan also allows we to gain
valuable experience. Last but not least, we will get specialized information and abilities that
will help us in our future studies and job.
