b, Chuyển sang câu bị động (HTĐ, QKĐ, HTTD và HTHT)
Ex: I saw him last night (passive)
=>He was seen last night
c, It was not until…… that ……: Mãi cho đến khi…… thì………
It was not until + time/ S + V2/ed…… that + S + V2/ed……

Ex: The cinema did not become an industry until 1915.
=>It was not until 1915 that the cinema became an industry.
d, Viết lại câu dùng mệnh đề quan hệ dùng who, whom , which, that ( có giới hạn và
không có giới hạn)
Ex: Tom is a student. He is very intelligent (who, whom, which, that)
=>Tom, who is very intelligent, is a student
Ex: I saw the girl. She helped us last week.
=> I saw the girl who/that helped us last week.
e, Wh – question ( đặt câu hỏi cho câu trả lời có sẵn)

f, Chuyển qua mệnh đề IF
Ex: He can’t go to school because he is ill
