PERIOD 1. GIỚI THIỆU CÁCH HỌC –MÔN HỌC TIẾNG ANH
A- Aims: Nhằm giúp học sinh bước đầu làm quen với bộ môn tiếng Anh,
hiểu được vị trí và tầm quan trọng của bộ môn từ đó xác định được ý thức học tập
nghiêm túc ngay từ đầu năm học.
Đây là môn học có tính đặc thù riêng biệt, học sinh cần phải được làm quen
với cách học tập. Giáo viên cần hướng dẫn cho các em phương pháp học tập có
hiệu quả phù hợp với trình độ nhận thức của các em theo nhu cầu nội dung bài
học.
B- Presenting the subject and ways of learning:
- Mục tiêu môn tiếng Anh được cơ sở vị trí của môn học đối với sự phát
triển trung của toàn xã hội. Đó là công cụ tạo điều kiện hoà nhập với cộng đồng
quốc tế và khu vực, tiếp cận những thông tin về khoa học, kỹ thuật, tiếp cận với
những nền văn hoá khác cũng như những sự kiện quốc tế quan trọng.
- Cuốn “Tiếng Anh 6” gồm 16 đơn vị bài học tương ứng với 16 chủ đề đã
được phát triển từ 6 chủ đề lớn. Mỗi bài thường có 3 phần A, B, C được phát triển
theo trình tự các bước giới thiệu bài học, giới thiệu ngữ liệu hay nội dung chủ
điểm mới, luyện tập vận dụng và củng cố. Ngoài 16 đơn vị bài học (tương ứng với
16 chủ đề ) sách giáo khoa 6 còn có phần luyện tập ngữ pháp. Cuối cuốn sách là
phần tổng kết ngữ pháp và bảng từ vựng, học sinh có thể dùng để tham khảo.
- Học cần kết hợp và phát huy 4 kỹ năng: nghe, nói, đọc, viết, đặc biệt cần
rèn luyện kỹ năng nghe – nói để phục vụ mục đích giao tiếp.
- Giáo viên cần hướng dẫn học sinh làn thêm các bài tập, rèn luyện ý thức tự
học ở nhà.
