I. Objectives:
- Further practice using some structures to make an invitation,
to take and refuse the invitation.
- After the lesson, Ss will be able to invite the other and reply
the invitation
II. Preparation:
- Merterial: Textbook, sub-board.
- Equipments: cassette and tape.
III. Teaching procedure:

- Homework correction.
3. New lesson:
A. Warm- up:
- Introduce the lesson.
B. Presentation:
* Pre-listening :
- Ss look at the pictures on P.64.
- Ss guess what Ba, Nam, Lan and Hoa are discussing what to
do .
* While- listening :
- T plays the tape, Ss listen then check whether their guessing
are right or wrong.
- Ss practice reading the dialogue in pairs.
- Call some pairs to read aloud.
- T explains some structures:
What about + V-ing ?
Why donot you + V ?
Let’s + V-inf

- Make some examples to make clear:
What about going to the movies ? Great / Oh, I’d love
to.
Why don’t you relax ? I am sorry
Let’s go to Hoa’s house.
- Ask Ss to answer the given questions in textbook.
- Ss compare their answers with their partners.
- Call some Ss to give the answers on the BB.
- T asks the rest to do it orally.
- T corrects and gives the right ones:
a. Nam wants to go to the movies.
b. Lan doesn’t want to go to the movies because there
aren’t any good movies at the moment.
c. Lan wants to listen to some music at home.
d. Hoa doesn’t want to go to Lan’s house because she has
so many assignments.
e. It’s Saturday.
- Ss copy the right answers.
* Post-listening :
- T asks Ss to work in groups of 4 to make a similar dialogue on
the base of the dialogue above.
- T calls some groups to perform in front of the class .
4. Consolidation:
- Sum up the key points.
5. Homework:
- Do the Ex in workbook.
- Prepare the next lesson. (B2)
