B1. Listen. Then practice with a partner.
*Pre reading
- T: introduces the situation of the dialogue, then explains some
new words.
+ Family name (n) : ( the first name ):Pham

- Ss read new words in chorus and individually.
- T: corrects their pronunciation.
* While reading
- T: asks Ss to look at their books and listen to the tape .
- Ss work in pairs reading the dialogue.
- T: calls on some pairs to read the dialogue in front of the class.
- T: corrects their pronunciation.
- T: asks Ss to look at the questions then work in pairs : one asks
and one asnwers.
- T: calls on some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- T: corrects the mistakes and gives the correct answers:

- Ss practice in pairs, using the cues:
