from ………to ……….?

A. Warm up: Wordsquare
- T: asks Ss to find out the words in order to ask and
prepositions.
- Ss play in 2 groups.

- T: remarks and demonstrates the group which wins the game.
B. Presentation
B4. Listen. Then practice with a partner.
*Presentation:
- T: asks Ss some questions such as:
+ Where do you live?
+ How do you go to school?
=> Then lead in new structure:
+ How far is it from your house to school?
=> It’s about one kilometer.
- Ss: make sentences with new structure.
- Ss: look at the books and listen to the tape.
- T: asks them to read the dialogue in pairs.
- T: calls on some pairs to read the dialogue in front of the class.
- T: corrects their pronunciation.
- T: asks Ss some questions:
+ Where does Hoa live?
+ Is it far from her school?
+ How does she get there?
*Practice:
B5. Ask and answer with a partner.
- Ss look at 4 pictures in part 5.
- T: asks them to practice in pairs, asking and answering about
distances .
EX: How far is it from your house to the market?
It’s about one kilometer.
- T: calls on some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- T: corrects the mistakes if necessary.
*Production:
- T: gives some given cues then ask Ss to practice in pairs.

- Ss make a dialogue about themselves based on the dialogue
