SUMMARY
Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are commonly associated. Hypertension contributes
substantially to morbidity and mortality in diabetic patients.
Study 126 typ 2 diabetes patients were admitted at Interne 2 Depatment  Xanh Pon hospital,
the results of analysis showed that: the prevalence of hypertension in patients with typ 2 diabetes is
57,94%; 57,41% in males and 61,11% in females. Hypertension patients rate of inconnue occupies
13,49% of cases hypertensions. There are more hypertensives in older patients ( 25% in patients
under age 50 and 47,62% in age older ); in obese patients (68,75% in patients with BMI > 23 and
58,97% in patients with BMI < 23 ). Hypertension remains uncontrol in the majority of patients (


patients with hypertension is higher than in patients without hypertension.






