ABSTRACT
PREVALENCE OF ADULT CARDIAC ARRHYTHMIAS IN NORTHERN
VIETNAMESE COMMUNITY
The resting 12 leads electrocardiogram was recorded in 2.435 individuals (aged 25 years or
over) from March to October 2006, including: 1.031 men and 1.404 women.
In this study, the prevalence rate of cardiac arrhythmias was 19,5% in community (including
normal heart and heart diseases) and males was 23%, females was 17% and prevalence rate of
stimuli arrhythmias was 9.2%, conduction disturbance arrhythmias was 8.6% and combine was
1.6%.
