Introduction

Nice to meet you!
We are group 1 with 7 members:

At the moment, we are going to write about topic: “Young people attitudes to work”.
With this topic, we will concentrate about self – employment, the attitude which young
people chose the most.
With the improvement of Internet, the appearance of the public web like facebook, zalo
or skype…, and with the help of post offices and banks, we can start our business at
home with a large market, who are people in different places in many countries. Many
products and advices are provided, lots of orders are made everyday. There are many
opportunities for young people’s works.
However, unemployment is still popular in Vietnam. Therefore, a lot of young people
decide to be self – employment.

Definition of Self- employment

Self-employment is the act of generating one's income directly from customers, clients or
other organizations as opposed to being an employee of a business (or person).

Generally, tax authorities will view a person as self-employed if the person (1) chooses to
be recognized as such, or (2) is generating income such that the person is required to file
a tax return under legislation that subsists in the relevant jurisdiction(s). In the real world
the critical issue for the taxing authorities is not that the person is trading but is whether
the person is profitable and hence potentially taxable. In other words the activity of
trading is likely to be ignored if no profit is present, so occasional and hobby- or
enthusiast-based economic activity is generally ignored by authorities.
Self-employed people generally find their own work rather than being provided with
work by an employer, earning income from a trade or business that they operate. In some
countries governments (the United States and UK, for example) are placing more
emphasis on clarifying whether an individual is self-employed or engaged in disguised
employment, often described as the pretense of a contractual intra-business relationship
to hide what is otherwise a simple employer-employee relationship.

Advantages
The first, you are your own boss.
You can have some flexibility in when you work. No one is going to fire you. You have
job security. This will provide you an opportunity to put down roots and provide a sense
of stability for your family. You can belong to a community.
The second, you will have the chance to put your ideas into the business.
Hopefully your business is in a field or area that you enjoy. Your business can be
adaptable to what you see that needs to be done. This flexibility makes small businesses
able to change virtually overnight to meet a perceived need.
The third, you work hard and enjoy the rewards of your hard work.
You'll never work harder for someone else as you will for yourself. I have always said,
â??When you are your own boss, you know when you are loafing or when something
more needs to be done! You will participate in very aspect of running the business. But if
you want to schedule a day away from your work, you can do that.

The fourth, you get to feel the enormous sense of pride and personal satisfaction when
your business is successful, when your business has a good reputation, and when the
business grows.
The fifth, you will have the opportunity to lead others. When you need additional
employees, you get to choose who you employ and then lead their growth and
development.
The sixth, you will get to work closely with your customers. You can develop strong
meaningful relationships with your customers or clients.
The seventh, you will develop a breadth of talents. In the course of running your business
you will learn and acquire significant skills of marketing, accounting, negotiating and
selling which are sought after skills in the workforce.
The eighth, a successful business can provide financial reward. Hopefully, your business
will prosper and reward you for your sacrifices. You may have a chance to make a lot
more money that if you worked for someone. You will also have a chance to build real
retirement value, if you can build your business and then sell it when you retire.

Disadvantages
1.the young blame and passive
A small portion of distrust , the rest are mostly protected by thinking " just doing what a
good present for the " rest " that in the future, then consider after one two or writing or
engraving will have someone care
2.the young difficulty adapting to business
professional knowledge but also with no or not sure , something just remember
indistinctive falling off, no basic skills ( science, drafting , reporting ... not fluently ) , soft
skills and life skills in the business community does not have ( the ability to identify
problems and poor problem solving , analytical and organizational work is not science ,
communication, shy , did not withstand the pressure , fear hard , fear of scolding ,
complaining , gossip ... )
3.misconception and no target

to find the right school or its industry to find the right sectors or her interests and passions
to work at the company have good environment ( but do not know how good ), or to work
in companies with multiple domains and frozen staff to learn

In business, you should know to balance confidence, perseverance and arrogant attitude.
A overconfidence often will not realize the difficulties ahead or have illusions about his
ability.
*you should have a companion:
Do not start one yourself. You need a support system when you start a business (and
afterwards). A family member or a friend that you can share ideas, they know to listen


sympathetically and said that even if the startup fails, your job is also an invaluable
lesson. It would be better if you find an experienced adviser, if you can afford to
subscribe to an investment program for those starting a business. The guidance of
experienced people is the best way to support.
*research and set a plan:
Write a business plan. The main reason for writing a business plan as a necessary first job
as it can help you avoid wasting time and money into starting a business does not lead to
success. It is said that no plan is planning to fail.

Conclusion

Many start-up people have to admit one thing when they started their own career in open

environment: it’s truly hard when you have to do everything by your own with limited
help from your parents or friends. You have to face with a lot of difficult things such as
work stress, dead-line, large amount of work or lack of experiences. Some will have to
finish their work in limited time without paying, or even face with dangerous in some
specific case.
But, because you are young people, you will have everything that you can find yourself
to deal with such difficulties. You have time, so you will learn how to plan your job, your
move in most suitable way that help you not only finish the job, but also have time to
relax to prepair for next target. You have strength, it will have you feel more and more
confident to complete every tasks you have to receive. Moreover, with cability of dream,
maybe you will find the right way to achieve success.
Nothing is easy, especially with young people. But with right attitude, you will conquer
every difficulties that you face in life.
