Tenses. ( các thì) và sự phối hợp thì ( since, when, while .)
The passive Form ( dạng bị động)
dạng bị động đặc biệt:
- thể sai khiến ( causative form) : have, get.
Active: S + have + O ( chỉ ngời) + bare infinitive + o ( chỉ vật)
Passive: S + Have + O( chỉ vật) + Past participle +( by + O ( chỉ ngời))
Ex: I had him repair my bike yesterday.
I had my bike repaired yesterday
Active: S + get + O( chỉ ngời) + to - infinitive + O( chỉ vật)
Passive: S + get + O( chỉ vật) + Past participle +( by + O ( chỉ ngời))
Ex: I get her to make some coffee.
I get some coffee made.
- câu mệnh lệnh:
Active: Verb + O .
-> Ex: Write your name here.
Passive: let + O + be + Past participle .
Let your name be written here.

Active: ( S )+ let + sb + do + sth

->
Ex: He let me go out.
Passive: S + be + let / allowed + to infinitive.
I was let / allowed to go out

4. Forms of verbs ( hình thức của động từ)
- bare infinitive ( động từ nguyên thể không có to) theo sau các động từ khiếm khuyết
nh: can, may, must, will, shall, should, have to, be going to, ought to, .
Bare infinitive còn theo sau các động từ nh: had better, would rather, would sooner,..
V + to - infinitive : V = decide, start, try, plan .
the gerunds ( V- ing)( dand động từ) theo sau các động từ nh: like, love, enjoy, hate,
dislike, .
- The participles ( phân từ) : Present participles : V- ing ( mang nghĩa chủ động)
Past participles : V- ed/ 3 ( mang nghĩa bị động)
